The War on Whiteness

He is not a racist, everything has become a dogwhistle to the left. That’s what critical race theory is trying to do. They are trying to deconstruct society in order to confuse everyone about meanings to the point no one knows what means anything anymore. It’s an anarchist type of function. The end goal is to have society collapse and the redo society in their image. It’s all about power. This is all in the writing of the post-modernists and subsequently in the writings of the critical race theorists. Do you think it’s working?

You mean with his executive actions? No, all presidents have had questionable executive actions depending on the audience. It’s no worse or better.

What specifically is it that you think is against checks and balances. Do you agree with democrats wanting to remove the filibuster?

You agree with this thread title, right?

It's no different that the "You will not replace us" from Charlottesvile. Far right

You don't know what actions Trump has taken that violate checks and balances? Yet you are sure Dems, are going to create a Communist dictatorship? Ok

And yes, the filibuster needs to go, its stupid.

We are also going to add two new states

Quick, someone tell these people about their white privilege, clearly they haven't been told and that's why they're living on the streets in absolute squalor in the country's second biggest (and one of the most affluent) cities.

Racism hurts everyone. White working class people that couldn't get access to health care or other government programs because those that wanted to help them (socialism) lost elections because of race baiting politicians

Racism is used to divide people. That's why Trump is divisive.

First, The war in whiteness is happening. Just look at the scholars and their papers. “When a person tells you who they are, believe them the first time” ~ Maya Angelou. It’s all there, you don’t have to dig very far. It’s all a war against whiteness.

Secondly, you’re doing what’s expected of people like you. Generalizing and equating with me being a racist. Unlike those in few in Charlottesville who were actual white supremacists, I don’t believe that one race is superior to another, in fact race would be better if it was a non-factor, not further being made a factor to pit everyone against each other like the left wants to do and the democrats are complying with. Simply live and let live. That’s a dog whistle to you I’ll bet, but no surprise, everything is to the left no matter how rational. Oh wait rationalism and enlightenment values are also racist, right?

Finally, love how you’ll generalize the racist that Trump is without giving any firm examples. Again, it’s all what I would expect from someone of your ideological persuasion.

Yes, he's always been a great friend to the black community. Who can forget his father and him as two of the most racist realtors in NYC? Who can forget his full-page ad against the Central Park Five? Who can forget him refusing to change his mind even when they were exonerated?

Yes, he is a saint to the black community. That is why he is so beloved by them.

It also makes it difficult to explain why he is a darling of white supremacists.

This whole thread is a "You won't replace us" themed whine

I have no idea what this means. Example?

You’re right, racism does hurt everyone. So why is the left trying to create more of it? Socialism has never, will never work.

Sure, when I get to my computer, I will get one of the papers from my class that the professor assigned on critical race theory and the battle against “whiteness”.

No, the theme is not that, that’s your own interpretation.

I totally agree with this, yet you then claim you are under attack somehow. You actually cliam that if the party that has the concentration of minority voters win, you will end up in a concentration camp ?

Are you going to listen? Scapegoating immigrants as criminals and rapists and murderers. Nazis did that to jews. How about that? He totally demonized this group to fire up people for his election. The wall, screwing around the Dreamers, dismissing a federal judge looking into his criminal fraud scheme as a "Mexican", putting children in cages

Do you really think Obama was a foreign born illegal immigrant? That was a totally racist campaign against our first president of color

I think Trump does dumb things a lot. You know the answer to the first one, that was a situation where the media played only a small part of the clip and created a narrative. That was not all Mexicans, just bad actors.

The wall is needed and a wall. The meaning behind the wall is what the left assigned to it and you bought it hook line and sinker. It’s racist right? A wall can be immoral? Wow.

You know full well why kids were separated. Nothing to do with wanting to specifically take kids away from their parents but because it was the law. Obama did the same thing. It’s nothing I condone but no ones perfect. That’s the problem, everyone has to be perfect in the world of the left. I think it was right to point out the issue there and spotlight it, but the narrative surrounding it was disgusting.

Dreamers, just like the wall, is a value judgement on the individual. You’ve made your stance clear but one or the other is not wrong or right, it just depends on your ideology unfortunately. I think dreamers should be granted citizenship, their parents knowing what they were doing is another story.

I’m not sure what judge you’re talking about but let me know and I’ll take a look.

No I don’t believe in the birther narrative. Let me ask you, what makes that racist? A person who thinks they are not from this country could legitimately think they are not without being racist. That’s another problem with the left. The reason for everything is “racism” which usually misses what’s actually happening. In that way it continues to purpetuatre the issue because the actual crux of the matter is not remedied because...racism. Vicious cycle.

Somebody in Washington or a group of somebody's are going to have to be the adults in the room before too long.  The political divide in America is much about money with the left wanting gargantuan additional government benefits in the name of "fairness".  There simply aren't enough tax dollars even at unreasonable tax rates to fund into perpetuity SS, Medicare, Medicaid, free college, free health care for all and whatever else I'm missing that the left wants.  I don't think the majority of Americans anytime soon will be willing to hand over their health insurance premiums to the government in exchange for medicare for all.  The rate of debt accumulation is substantially faster than GDP growth and this is without these newly wanted benefits.  Only 1% interest rates are temporarily easing this pain.  At some point rates rise and even worse potentially is a souring of demand for U.S. treasuries for any number of reasons economic or geopolitical.

Trump and Pelosi are playing like it's monopoly money at atrocious levels on the heels of Obama who did same.  Trump in this regard is the worst ever  He loves his GDP number and seems to care about little else.   Will he make debt reduction a part of his 2020 platform?  Seems doubtful.  Frankly the fiscal planning and management at the federal level is embarrassing.  This government never right sizes and it's hardly a left vs right problem.  Both parties take turns sucking at this.

While academics and pundits talk about ratios and percentages, none of that will matter when the raw numbers inflict pain.

Here's a link with a bunch of info and these numbers don't include pandemic stimuli and the ensuing revenue loss due to the interruption of the economy.

https://www.cbo.gov/publication/56073

The money supply has proven itself to be pretty flexible. When the Dems do get hold of power, health care will be expanded, and those benefitting the most might just be rural whites.

Its not? You said white people are headed to the ovens if the multi-cultural Dems win? Huh?

I did not say that, I’m saying it’s moving in the direction of what happened in the book, not that it will happen if they are elected straight away. Hopefully cooler heads prevail but no the signs are there. The upper class/rich people are all whites, “the other”, that needs to be overthrown. Dems continue to stoke that hate. What do you think is the logical end to that. I’ll hear you out.

Also, I’ll fully admit, this is my own opinion. I’m not trying to demand and shout down other ideologies like those on the left. I’ll put my opinion out there and let the best idea and understanding win.

Why bring up concentration camps in relation to the Democratic party?

That's no different than John C Calhoun saying that if the slaves were freed the whites would then be slaves in the 1850s. Has a democratically elected government, of long standing,  ever degenerated into a communist dictorship with concentration camps?
