Exiled...in Cheektowaga,it takes a three person crew ($23 a hour per) to do what you do alone.

But that crew probably consisted of mere mortals!

You Sir rank #1 on the "Awesomeness Scale!"

I take back any implied negativity I said about your childhood days during the 1870s!

Not only am I awesome, I am also quite good looking.......you know......for my age.

I’m confused....how many golden nuggets do you need to crap to get a Meadcoin? I’ve lost my conversion table!

(Don’t worry, I like to flatter Exiled a bit for his community service because he was hurt that his neighbors didn’t tip him over the Holidays. And a little spray paint does NOT make for a real golden nugget!)

BUT, that was some CRAZY rain! An elevator looked like a car wash!!!

Over 3 inches in an hour is crazy for a city. Very few places can handle that much at once let alone an urban area w/pavement and concrete covering the water table

Philippines get more than that in the heavy populated, full of food and booze areas.

It's business

As usual.

Buffalo has a snow storm, we call it Tuesday and move on.

Atlanta has the threat of a snowflake and everything comes to a screeching HALT!!!

(But I won’t downplay the mess in DC! That was awful!)

Houston survived worse..as did many other places around the globe...with exception of Puerto Rico.

The area of DC is worth 5 pockets of democratic American cash..they want to misprint dollar signs on the paperwork.

We want to move to Navarre,Florida when she retires...the odds of us getting hit with tornados...hurricanes are high.

Life.

Ain't no farmland in DC.

Whatever you do, don't move to Florida. We are trying to get the hell out of this shithole of a state. Besides, the food sucks unless you like Chains.

I loved my life in Sarasota, so I guess it depends. We all do what works best for us. I liked Naples a lot too (very expensive!), but not a huge fan of much of the state. To each their own. But the summer is loooong, as is the winter in WNY. Winters are glorious! Ideally,  I could live with two smaller places that suit my weather preferences, and WNY has great summers and falls!

I sold my sister's house after she passed...Clearwater has a damn nice beach. She lived in Parrish.T/C..you know I have family in Louisiana...I really need to get closer to them and I have had enough of seeing snow...I wanna be warm 12 months a year..it's better for people that deal with arthritis.

Too much rain is always bad business trust me

In Phnom pejn..southern part..'84..fish danced the streets...

The street vendors with only hands (including woman) swished them up..gutted them, fried and sold them ..maybe 10 minutes in time.I

From street to mouth..that's no long john silver..

With water.....

Come the rats...size of brown kitties.

Eat fresh from the vendor on the cheap with you feet next to a rat doing the same thing on not much of the fish.they deep fry the eyes of the fish there.

Dogs eat well...

Had the mother of all rainstorms last April, one place on Kauai set the US record for rainfall in a 24 hr period...49.7" in a day, broke some old record rainfall in Texas by half a foot. Houses were swimming out to sea, the ground just turned into liquid

It was the fault of the Army Corps of Engineers.

Signed,

Katrina
