We have voting that starts a month out in some states. By mail only voting (you don't even have to leave the comfort of your home, just stick it in your mailbox for the mailman to pick up!) Voting that you can walk up to the booth for a "provisional" ballot same day. If anything I'd argue it is too easy to vote many, many, many times in the same election! In my state, you have to attest that you will be out of state on election day to vote by mail. And if you mail it in, but are in-state on election day, you have to go to your polling place and cancel your mail in ballot in person.
