Lol Scar coach up those second stringers and they end up being a decent O line.   (If he retires again I think Brady would too after he was hit like a pinyata that one year without him coaching the line)

as for weapons.. Brady did make Reche “big Eyes” Caldwell look like a true NFL receiver lol.

that said the Bills better right the ship soon as the Pats have maybe 3 years left before the wheels fall off and God I don’t want the Dolphins and definitely don’t want the Jets to take the AFCE when it happens!

I remember your o-line the year Scarpaccia was retired (3 years ago?) where Brady got hit a lot; the o-line coach got promptly fired right after the season ended.  Wonder what BB paid Scar to come out of retirement.  Amazing what a difference a good o-line coach makes.

Not sure Reche Caldwell was ever a true NFL receiver.  I remember a game where Brady's pass hit Caldwell right in the numbers and bounced off him.  Caldwell's eyes were as big as dinner plates; it was noticeable on tv.  This was probably 2006 or so, since Randy Moss came in the next year 2007; Brady made a comment about Moss "he's not a distraction and he catches the ball."  Caldwell obviously wasn't with NE at that point, and was on another team (I forget which) but didn't do anything notable.

Yes keep trying to get defensive all pros at every position and keep neglecting offense and maybe just maybe the Bills can win every game 3-0.

You have something against having a good defense?

Is there some rule that I don't know about where a team can't acquire players on both sides of the ball?

Lol bug eyes Caldwell my friends and I call him from the AGC championship game when he dropped a sure fire game sealing TD and came back eyes as big as saucers.. I am still shocked Brady didn’t lose his mind on him on the sidelines afterwards.

and yes yes I think O line coaches are under rated! You have a good to great O line it makes running any offense IMO so much easier...

If our D gets too good the we'll look dumb for trading tyrod for a 3rd as he combined with an elite D would have record breaking turnover differential.  Last year around week 5 we were almost +20 differential.

Ravens did it. . .

I don't think anyone said that.

I do, however, think that being able to outbid nearly everyone else puts the team in a good spot to fill several holes with solid FA pickups.

So you’re advocating they way over pay for free agents?   That’s a proven way to not win and be in cap hell a few years down the road.

Not necessarily on both accounts

What modern FA has shown is that what you spend isn't anywhere near as important as how effectively you spend it.

I'm advocating for assembling the most talented team possible so that you can make a determination on your QB as quickly as possible.

Also, cap jail isn't a real thing. Teams that end up there do so of their own volition and tend to get out of it quite easily
