BillsFan4
As GunnerBill and other said, Bodine made the protection adjustments. That is is something that didn’t seem to be happening weeks 1 and 2. Allen, like many rookie QBs, struggles recognizing pressure. Having an experienced starting center like Bodine looks to have been a big help to him. I think he should be the starting C going forward.
LeGOATski
I was a little surprised when Groy got the starting job. Not that Bodine was playing that well, but I never saw him completely whiff on blocks the way Groy did.

"Russell Bodine turned down long term contract offer from Bengals". .... https://www.cincyjungle.com/2018/3/20/17141958/russell-bodine-turned-down-long-term-contract-offer-bengals "The deal the Bengals offered is said to have been for five-years with little guarantees but far more potential earnings than the two-year, $5 million deal he signed with Buffalo. Bodine turned down the Bengals’ offer and took a gamble on himself in Buffalo". So that gives the Bills 2 drafts to get a starting center that would replace Wood for years to come !! Or maybe they could acquire a good one in Free Agency? Gotta spend that $90 Mil somehow and they have plenty of other draft needs.. Paying Bodine $2.5Mil a year values him as a backup center but the Bills have no one else at the moment after Groy's efforts to date..
vincec
I thought he played well too. I thought it was interesting that when he got dinged up and Groy came in he immediately got beat for a sack. He's probably not the long term answer at center but he appears better than Groy anyway.
