I was in Buffalo this weekend for an interview at Geico. I applied last week, got a call the next day, so decided to fly home this weekend (I just landed back in WPB an hour ago). Anyway, had an hour long interview on Saturday morning. Then came back and had a THREE hour interview today. And right on the spot they offered me the job (as an underwriter). It's not in my field of Marketing, but they pay is surprisingly good, I get a 10% discount on my Car insurance, and the health and dental benefits start the FIRST day you start to work.  Anyway, just a bit excited as it just so happens the day I start and the day I leave Florida are 4 days apart (including a weekend). I will miss two days of work during the entire move.

You can send your congrats in the form of cash..

stojan weren't you like an uber computer guy or something. i swear you had some really techy job. what happened to that? i thought you were a computer guy.

I sit at a computer all day!

Just kidding. I do know my way around a computer, currently I use access and excel all day at work. I also build and maintain affiliate websites, which makes me some side money, (my marketing background helps me with those quite a bit). I'm no IT or comp sci guy... so I wouldn't say "uber" computer guy.

Plus, I'm young - I know I'm still free to try new things.

The ability to download porn in multiple windows does not make him a computer expert.

6 months of training. After which, an immediate raise, and an immediate week vacation (they say that people are often stressed after 6 months of training, thus the week. See me at the Bills games? Yes. Althought through my eyes, you may look a little blurry....

Yeah I'm about to go apt shopping soon. I almost feel bad for the landlords, pit one against the other you can get a real nice deal.

Since I was home this weekend, I got to check out my friends new place in south buffalo. His apartment is twice as big as mine, and he pays such a low price I laughed.(less than half of what I pay). Seriously, even SHACKS down here cost so much, landlords have a hayday.
