Somebody just traded the 1st pick in the 3rd round for Tyrod Taylor and he is starting again next season. starrymessenger Posted March 18, 2018 Share Posted March 18, 2018 I see Rosen as clearly the # 1 QB prospect in this class. I think he is going to be a Giant and if not a Jet (Jets are betting the reports that the Giants are not taking a QB are true). As much as I like Rosen, I'm absolutely fine with Lamar at 12. I think he's at least as good a prospect as Mayfield, Darnold and Allen (and maybe better - he's # 2 on my list). There is risk with all of these guys (though less with Rosen IMO ) so if Lamar flames out (which I seriously doubt) its just one pick and at least you have'nt gutted your entire draft and still have plenty of picks to really fill some of the many holes in the roster with quality players. And if he does pan out, Bills will be miles ahead after the dust settles. Not sure this happens though because 1) I have no idea how Beane feels about Lamar and 2) I think Zona may try to leapfrog the Bills on or before the draft.
