I think we are in great shape

If I’m ok using it for ALL QBs, it’s not a contrivance. If someone is saying what he’s saying, it is.

I'm sure you would love if your workplace performance was judged by things that were out of your control.

WR drop % by QB. If your eyes get tired going down the list, Jackson is #53.

You need to go and do some more research and stop listening to what the so called "experts say" or Polian

OK--i will research what some nerd says--not what i have witnessed with my own eyes for 50 plus yrs.

Then you know who Randall Cunningham is? It's the closest resemblance I can come up with.

I can’t believe anyone seriously believes this guy is nfl capable. Hey, whatever floats your boat.

Brandon Beane:

"He is a special athlete. He really is. I understand why people say (he should switch to wide receiver) because they’ve seen guys convert that are special athletes. I still think he’s going to get a chance to prove that he can play quarterback. I think he’s earned that right. He won the Heisman doing that. I think he’s going to get every chance to prove that before he ever looks at a position change. I refer to Cam (Newton) because it’s so recent. Those were the things a lot of people said about Cam. ‘It’s a simple offense, he can’t learn it, everything he’s done has been run first, pass second.’ Look at what Cam has done in this league. He’s done a lot of good things. You have to give Lamar Jackson that due diligence to prove what he can do mentally, physically, all of those things. What his intangibles are. I haven’t gotten to meet the young man yet. I’ve heard great things about him and I’m looking forward to getting to know him between now and the draft.”

I'm sure he will be fully considered and given a fair shake.

For the record I'm Rosen or Mayfield guy. That does not appear to happening so why not have a sane conversation about next options? Everyone gets so pissy or heated over any conversation about the QB position, it's crazy.

And in three years will be washed out of the league. If there’s ever anything you can be assured of, that’s it.

I'm with you on Rosen. I would take Jackson over Mayfield.

Well speaking for myself, I’m over dynamic dual threat qbs.

Somebody just traded the 1st pick in the 3rd round for Tyrod Taylor and he is starting again next season. Even if Jackson's progression is unfavorable, he projects pretty easily to be a much better prospect than Taylor.

Cool, I trust whatever Beane and McD decide at the position as long as they don't Skip over the position.

I'm not a big Josina fan from ESPN but she did this quick segment on Jackson that is spot on.

I agree.  I think it's ridiculous what the jets gave up to move 3 spots. I'm so glad we did not make that move.

Agreed.....and if we did the trade up it would have cost much more. Seems to me people on here are very passionate, but throwing away all those picks to move up 8 or 9 spots is just crazy and desperate.  People get caught up in all the hype, Think long term here. The Bills brass still might move up some if the deal works. AJM is more ready than any QB in the draft.

I see Rosen as clearly the # 1 QB prospect in this class. I think he is going to be a Giant and if not a Jet (Jets are betting the reports that the Giants are not taking a QB are true).

As much as I like Rosen, I'm absolutely fine with Lamar at 12. I think he's at least as good a prospect as Mayfield, Darnold and Allen (and maybe better - he's # 2 on my list). There is risk with all of these guys (though less with Rosen IMO ) so if Lamar flames out (which I seriously doubt) its just one pick and at least you have'nt gutted your entire draft and still have plenty of picks to really  fill some of the many holes in the roster with quality players.  And if he does pan out, Bills will be miles ahead after the dust settles.

Not sure this happens though because 1) I have no idea how Beane feels about Lamar and 2) I think Zona may try to leapfrog the Bills on or before the draft.

why fret about things you can't control?

Because this is TBD.

While some posters are rational and normal, others hysterically faint on couches for every reason possible.

Just like in the Real world.
