In total, eight teams will clinch a playoff spot after not qualifying for the postseason in 2016, tied with the 2003 season for the most such teams since 1990. Will-GM-for-food Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 A lot of people are crapping on the Peterman game for potentially costing us a playoff position, but I don't think it matters THAT much. Replace any other of our losses with a W and we would be facing a win and in game, or at least a loss with help and in. Yeah, in hindsight playing TT could have given us that W, but that is no guarantee, and we just the same should have beaten the Bengals, Panthers, Jets, etc... Or at least would've drove down the field for the game winning touchdown instead of throwing the vaunted "INT" with 3 minutes left in the game. But yeah, all Peterman's fault we are where we are. An awful Bengals team turns over the ball nearly just as much and we get 16 points total. Chargers got what 54? I can't wait to find a QB who will move our offense with Nick O'Leary, Zay Jones (before he remembered how to catch), Brandon Tate, Kaelin Clay, and Logan Thomas.
