Dealing with pass catcher injuries? Did something happen outside of Clay getting hurt and cutting Klay? Matthews is back. This would just bolster things, right?

Yes. You can never stop improving a team.

@FieldYates

The Bills, who are dealing with pass catcher injuries, worked out WR Rod Streater today, per source. Streater was with them this offseason.

....makes sense...think his 6 week post injury settlement re-signing window is up......would like to see the Reilly kid get a shot, but they must be preserving him to see if we're still in "the hunt" at the 3/4 pole and what injuries look like (hopefully NONE) for the stretch run at WR position.....any other reason(s) you can think of?....

They need more than two contributing WRs and with Zay Jones in a season long funk it looks like they are exploring additional options beyond what they currently have on the roster. We'll see what happens.

Talent acknowledged, but they can't afford to wait on him to put it all together in-season.

@caplannfl

#Bills also worked out TE Jason Croom.

...agree bud, but did you have Deonte in your "crystal ball"?.....funniest stat I saw this week was the kid had more catches than PRACTICES with Bflo.......4 vs 3.....roll the dice and move Zay.......

Nope, but nice to see the production nonetheless.

He has talent but apparently his WR coach, who also was his college WR coach, cannot get him over the hump. Maybe it is the WR coach. Maybe he is dealing with an injury and does not want Bills to know and will be put on IR and we will be surprised about it. The Bills need to spend some money and bring it an offense consultant to work with him.

I heard on the radio last week or the week before that Streator couldn't be a part of the active roster for like 6 or 7 weeks due to his injury clause or something like that? Anyone know what the details on him are?

It is 6 weeks after yoy give a guy an injury settlement before you can re-sign them. That period is now up. The Bills are free to sign Streater if they wish.
