Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22

Recommended Posts

He needs more seasoning before he belongs in the big leagues. That was easy to see in the preseason game against the Leaves.

I'd much rather see a guy his age be a top pair guy in the AHL (not sure if that will be the case) as opposed to a 5-7 guy in the NHL. He needs all the ice time he can get. It's not a bad thing.

BUF claims Jordan Nolan on waivers from LAK.

@SabresPR

The Sabres have claimed forward Jordan Nolan off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 27, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has claimed forward Jordan Nolan off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.

Nolan (6’3”, 219 lbs., 6/23/1989) joins the Sabres after appearing in 292 NHL games for Los Angeles during the last six seasons. The Garden River, First Nations, Ontario native was a member of the Kings’ Stanley Cup-winning teams in 2012 and 2014.

“We’re happy to bring Jordan into the mix,” said Sabres General Manager Jason Botterill. “His size and speed, along with his experience with such a successful organization like the Kings, make him an asset to the organization.”

Since being drafted by the Kings in the seventh round (186th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Nolan has totaled 42 points (20+22) and 264 penalty minutes.

GM still golfing in the nice September weather while Eichel plans his future?

This guy better get his act together.

So quick question. It's my anniversary today, should I tell the wife bagging dinner to watch the Sabre pre season game?

Is it a big one like 10th or 50th or something? If it is the 17th and you remember it, you are whipped.
