My rate of success on more fringe topics (ETI et al) is less impressive - but then again, those are done with entertainment and fun in mind, unlike my work on this topic.

Time will tell, should be an exciting rest of the year to say the least. There is a good chance the Dems win back the House if something big like the IG report doesn’t swing the momentum back to the right.

I enjoy reading your theories even if some of it is just food for thought or entertainment.

  • 26CornerBlitz changed the title to DOJ Appoints Robert Mueller as Special Counsel - FBI Raids Michael Cohen's Home & Law Offices

Remember collusion? The allegation that Donald Trump and his aides coordinated or conspired with Russia to fix the 2016 presidential election is, and has always been, the heart of the Trump-Russia investigation.

Yet Monday saw two developments in the Trump investigation — one discussed widely in the press, the other not as much — and neither pointed toward collusion.

BYRON YORK: Lots Of Mueller Action, But Where’s The Collusion?

It’s like that was just an excuse to start the propaganda machine going.

It's ironic that Republicans are bitching about Mueller exceeding his mandate looking for anything, while completely ignoring that the only thing to come out of the Whitewater investigation was lying about a blow job.

That is interesting. There probably are right wing FBI agents that wouldn't mind getting a job at Fox after "exposing" a non-issue that the right wing can scream about for awhile.

These might be the same people that got Comey to announce to the world Hillary's nothing burger investigation was back on in october 2016, least they leak the information they found investigation a sexting case.

Thankfully, the Vegas shooting mystery has been completely solved,

so the feds can focus on vital security matters like ..................whether a political candidate tried to keep unflattering stories out of the news.

And they found nothing? Nunes running to Laura Ingram to cry that the FBI has a left wing bias is laughable

No, now Nunes and the committee know exactly how the investigation started. Remember, the story changed twice ("It started with Page!" - months later - "It started with Papadapolous"). The ECM had to commit to one or the other, now Nunes and the committee know which.

Why does that matter?

Because if it doesn't match up with the FISA application, someone is in a heap of trouble. If it does match up (and I expect it to, since that would be EXTREMELY SLOPPY not to), then they know which avenue to properly follow up on (there are serious questions about both investigations if they're the origin point, as has been covered for months).

ECW's move to the DOJ is key to all of this, btw. But more on that later.

And this articles indicates that Nunes found out that indeed, it was the Popadopolous thing that got the ball rolling.

Does anyone know why the FBI and DOJ fought tooth and nail against releasing the memo in the first place?

Because they know it leads directly to evidence of malfeasance on their part, and they're doing everything they can to slow the wheels of justice.

To Nunes??? Another good reason Paul Ryan does not deserve to be speaker, letting that clown run around with classified info and cherry picking information from it.

So why? Because they were taking their jobs serious, that's why. And Trump appointed the heads of both those organizations

Which is a big problem for the FISA application - since they tried, and failed, to get a FISA on Papadapolous twice before they turned to Page.

All the lies they created to get away from the true need for a FISA is catching up to them.

Speaking of the true reason for the FISA, it's worth watching this clip again with all that we know now. Pay attention to the discussion about the "about quarries"...

Proving once again you have the listening comprehension of a drunken cat.

Rogers lays out the abuse of the 702 program that was ongoing "outside the NSA" (read: FBI Counter Intelligence Division), and gives the timeline... which, matches up almost to the day with when the FBI Counterintelligence Division (lead by Strzok) suddenly started to desperately pursue a legal FISA on Papadapolous and then Page.

Cause and effect.

It's easy to spot when you strip away the bullshite and look at the actual fact pattern.

Especially when you begin from a point where you are trying to conjure up a conspiracy
