The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Now, to be fair, we can’t say definitively that MSNBC did this on purpose. It may very well have just been an unfortunate case of foot-in-mouth disease.

But we’re pretty confident that if Fox News had a chyron like this about, say, Tammy Duckworth, Brian Stelter would construct his entire newsletter around it.

ALL hail the NARRATIVE..........

I think when you take away the freedom for a publication and journalist to do say, due or alter whatever they want under the banner of free press, you generally will end up with only the truth being reported.

How could that ever work?

LOL!  By what?  You keep saying this as if anything will come out supporting the lie about an insurrection happening that day.

See? I knew you couldn't ignore anyone who calls 1/6 an "insurrection."

LMAO

I've read a couple stories that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) over at the Pentagon takes the Lab origin story very seriously.  And they've been debriefing a high-level Chinese defector with intimate knowledge of China's biological programs for about two months.  The DIA has intentionally kept other US intelligence and law enforcement agencies, specifically the CIA and the FBI, in the dark and out of the loop because they believe both agencies are infiltrated by Chinese government spies.  This isn't a left or right issue.  This is a threat to our nation.  Everyone should be concerned and demanding answers.

As for main stream and social media companies I can only hazard to guess how many Chinese agents have infiltrated those businesses and what kind of cash payments and favors provided by the CCP for obedience and assistance are flowing into the pockets of various media people.  This demands more investigation and inspection.  Which leads me to another potential conclusion that all the Russia hysteria is a intelligence misdirection operation intended to distract everyone from the real problem, which is China.  And that distraction has worked extremely well as all the useful idiots picked up and focused on it for almost 5 years.  Fortunately, we still have a good number of critical thinkers in the alternative media that continues to ask the right questions which the right people continue to refuse to answer.  What are they hiding?

MOST OF WHAT YOU READ IN THE PRESS IS JUST REWRITTEN PR RELEASES:

How the Public-Relations Apparatus Works.

“One of the open secrets of the media ecosystem is how much coverage is shaped and orchestrated by public-relations professionals. This is especially the case when some previously unheard-of person suddenly becomes the center of a media blitz, and we are given to believe that this is an organic outpouring of attention.

A recent New York Times profile of Lioness, a P.R. firm representing workplace victims — of discrimination, sexual harassment, and all manner of other bad behavior — pulls back the curtain a bit on how the game is played. Lioness may represent a virtuous cause, and it may even be that all its clients are virtuous; but the game is the same. It requires little imagination, or knowledge of recent controversies, to grasp how the same tactics have been used to craft political narratives that seem to appear out of nowhere.”

The more readily the press cooperates, the less likely that the cause is virtuous.

Remember when BillZtime tried to pretend that the right agreed with Maggie earlier.......................That was awesome.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville posted a video Thursday encouraging Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine, saying it’s “safe, effective, and free.” New York Times Washington correspondent Maggie Haberman — who while working for Politico “never disappointed” the Hillary Clinton campaign when asked to “tee up stories for us” — says Tuberville’s video is notable, seeing as Donald Trump, who’d like to take credit for development of the vaccine during his term, has declined to take such a step.

Ever hear of Google Maggie ?   20 second search.

John did you watch the Monty Python special on PBS last night ?

Also posting articles on 10 or 12 different subjects to a political message board isn't really "spam", unless you don't want even come in contact with anything that might upset your sensibilities.

Well as long as Billsy brought it back, here is another example of the TDS.

They "got him" again.

😆

"There is no legal prohibition on Mr. Trump assembling and publishing photographs that a White House staff member took during his tenure; under federal law, those photographs are considered in the public domain..."

"... and not subject to copyright. There is a public Flickr account, now managed by the National Archives, that has 14,995 photos from the Trump White House, a third of them listing Ms. Craighead as the photographer."

And that's the main thing you need to know, squirreled away in the 16th paragraph of "She Took the White House Photos. Trump Moved to Take the Profit. The former chief White House photographer made plans to publish a book of Trump photos. The former president had other plans" (NYT).

We, the People own these photographs. Go ahead, go into that Flickr account and pick out whatever you like and make a book! It's perfectly free. It's in the public domain!

Were they really this desperate for another get-Trump story?

ADDED: Why say "considered in the public domain"? They are in the public domain !
