There's no embellishing getting knocked out cold. He was unconscious when he hit the ground. i have never watched a Bills game where we had players acting like Burfict. One of the only similar pieces of garbage I ever saw was Bryan Cox. He was also a charmer. Fact is he was baited, watch the video. Fact is I'm sure he said some choice things. Fact is the Cincy players couldn't control themselves at the most critical time in any of their professional careers. The first flag was unavoidable...after the contact it had to be thrown. The midfield fight after the hit, Shazier prancing around the sideline while Gio laid on the ground not moving, and then heckling the crowd after it was ruled a fumble. Wow. Yeah, I said it! With or without Ben being hurt for almost a quarter. They really should have won even w/o Dalton. It could be he was reacting to the crowd and the turnover more than the injury and hit but you still have to be aware of the situation IMO. To me, when the ball slides from his hands to his butt, that is when the catch sequence starts agin and from that point ge only gets one foot down. I thought that it was a penalty to headhunt whether you go after a receiver, runner, lineman whatever. Any decent level of poise and composure in that game wins the Bengals their first playoff game under Marvin Lewis.
