Hogan is a first down maker. Unless Clay or O'Leary can do what he did.... keep drives going, then you need him there to be single covered and catch the ball

Except Hogan isn't a first down maker. His biggest weakness is the lack of field awareness. He continually cut his routes off short of the marker and cost the Bills a lot of first downs last year. To say otherwise is revisionist history.

Flat out false. He consistently comes up short. Most of his catches and yards have been meaningless and actually drive killers.

He was 112th last year in 1st down percentage in the NFL. Not good for a guy that was asked to move the chains. He finished just ahead of those other "first down makers" Brian Quick and Stedman Bailey. Edited by Kirby Jackson

At this point Chris Williams is a goner.

He is a no show for voluntary workouts with a new coaching staff due to (or not) an injury that basically wiped out his first season with Buffalo where he was projected to be the starter.

Seems like this year is starting off the same with him not being able to participate. He is falling behind on the playbook and may not even be healthy enough to practice before summertime.

You don't keep a guy with a $3.4 million cap hit to be a back up guard or not even be healthy enough to play like last year. Look what they did to Urbik, which the only reason they didn't cut him is because he can play all positions along the line.

Add in the love Rex & Company is showing John Miller for his smarts and learning the offense so quickly and you have a starter who maybe more talented, more knowledgeable of the playbook, and a lot cheaper on your roster than Williams.

I don't see how Williams overcomes those hurdles with his salary hit. Bye bye

He should have never been signed in the first place. he was a bust way before Whaley unbelievably handed him 5 mil guaranted.
