Smart Car is about 1,800 pounds. I used to push my 1986 Toyota MR2 around, and that weighed 2,400 pounds. And I'd do it on grass, not a smooth parking lot.

I thought you lift things up and put them down?

I once pushed an 84 Saab 900 a quarter mile. That B word was 2800 pounds.

Admittedly, I stopped after 400 yards because I thought I was going to die...

Had to get in somewhere where I could work on it. That was the nearest parking lot.

It was also uphill. Not a steep hill, mind you...less than a 1% grade, I'm sure. But when you're pushing a damned Saab, every hill is steep.

'Just Jacked'...??

BTW, I always suspected that there were a bunch of pushers on this board. And, judging by many of the posts, some of their "clients" reside on these boards.

On my first real "date" with my now wife I took a turn too fast in my Geo Metro and lost control of the car, we ended up with the tail end of the car in a ditch. I got out and pushed the car (and her) out of the ditch. Ended up putting a dent in the rear while pushing it out.

And how was the car?

That's unbelievable. You owned a Geo Metro and managed to get a date?
