See paragraph 5.

Moral of story: don't waste taxpayer money. B-)

Again, they said the same thing when Vikings/Giants game in 2010 was moved to Monday night:

http://blogs.courant.com/roger_catlin_tv_eye/2010/12/no-giantsvikings-on-local-tv-t.html

"Fans in New York and Minnesota will be allowed to see it, but everyone else in the country will have to wait until midnight, when it will replay on the NFL Network. If you get the NFL Network."

But then they annouced it was going to be played nationally:

http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2010/12/12/vikings-giants-game-to-air-in-teams-home-markets/

"It will also be available nationally through DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket package."

I'd say there is precedent and there is a pretty good chance it gets shown.

Glad I pay for Sunday Ticket then..but what about those unfortunate souls with Verizon Fios, ComCrap Cable, Cox, Etc...

Enough crap channels and NFL Network not showing anything to leave those fans in the dark.

Not trying to sound pedantic, but Sunday Ticket is a different NFL contract. So, the answer I linked to is for a different question altogether. "Nationally televised" is typically referring to one of the major contracted networks putting the game on air nationally. Since Sunday Ticket puts all games on to paying subscribers wherever they may be, "nationally televised" in that market is essentially meaningless.

But, I get your concern. You have Sunday Ticket and want to see the game even though it was moved to Monday.

I see what you are getting at, nationally televised, as in Fox show's it themselves. I doubt that would happen.

I'll just have to watch the game at the bar, same as every week. Although I'd rather have it at a time where I don't have to go to work at 6AM.

A bar (outside of the local market areas) will have it ONLY if it is carried by DTV, or some national outlet. I also watch the games at a bar. But if they can't get the game, they can't show the game. Still, I think this will be resolved in a way they will have access. Otherwise I will just stream it from my computer to my TV.

I would say the Bills fans in Buffalo are the ones that got screwed via the 7 feet of snow. It's hard to sympathize with Bills fans living in, say, Florida right now.

They are suffering though. It dipped below 95. :)

Ya, we have never had any natural disasters here.
