But just a couple points, in my opinion: "Seriously good journalism" isn't being handed a thing, and then saying "here's this thing." They either deviated from those plans or they have just been in to drive the price up. There was NEVER a way that they were going to win the bid and move the team to Toronto. It was never an option. Part of being a journalist is developing a network of in-the-know people who trust you enough to go to you first. FINDING a document like this, now THAT'S some Woodward and Berstein ****, but it's very, very rare today since journalists are expected to churn out content and tweet and get clicks at a rate which completely denies them the time it takes to do actual, deep research. Roger Rai is a consultant for the Rogers group. he claims they wrote a biography on him and that he was incorrectly identified asPart of the group bidding on the Bills. he says he is not part of the group bidding on the bIlls and it is a mistake.
