Never liked Hannah when she was with the Bills (got a pass for being 'hot', even though she's not), but this could be some seriously good journalism if she's the one who broke it. Let's just hope she's not wrong. That would be bad.

It was actually broke by the buffalo fan alliance

She very well could be an awesome journalist. But just a couple points, in my opinion:

"Seriously good journalism" isn't being handed a thing, and then saying "here's this thing."

It's also very bad journalism if its authenticity wasn't confirmed. I'm guessing she confirmed it. Let's hope.

She is pawning off Buffalo Fan advisories tweet off as her own.

I'm still confused as to what the story is? Toronto was never an option if they were going to win the bid. They either deviated from those plans or they have just been in to drive the price up. There was NEVER a way that they were going to win the bid and move the team to Toronto. It was never an option.

Could someone give a quick synopsis of this for those who cannot get to it?

From the articel:

"Roger Rai was responsible for the acquisition of the Toronto Blue Jays and is part of the ownership group attempting to acquire and move the Buffalo Bills to Toronto"

Edit- it's from the toronto group as to who is part of the ownership group and gives details about each person.

On the contrary, being handed something IS good journalism. Part of being a journalist is developing a network of in-the-know people who trust you enough to go to you first.

FINDING a document like this, now THAT'S some Woodward and Berstein ****, but it's very, very rare today since journalists are expected to churn out content and tweet and get clicks at a rate which completely denies them the time it takes to do actual, deep research.

If she's taking credit then she sucks.

Roger Rai is a consultant for the Rogers group. he claims they wrote a biography on him and that he was incorrectly identified as

Part of the group bidding on the Bills. he says he is not part of the group bidding on the bIlls and it is a mistake.
