2 hours.... too long of a wait!

Its not a big day for EJ. Sure its his first "real" action of the NFL, but at the end of the day today, whether he goes 10-10 for 2oo yards and 4 TDs or 0-15 with 3 INTs, its still just the first real action for a rookie QB. In the grand scheme, its meaningless, and has no bearing one way or another on his future.

That being said, i fully expect a freak out/coronation depending on how he looks today.

I disagree.

It's a big day, because there's still a QB competition. If he goes out there and stinks it up, it'll lower his chances to be the starter for week one. One step at a time. This is a big day for him. He needs to at least show promise to keep the lead in the QB competition. If he takes any major steps back, Kolb could get a lot more work leading up to preseason game 2.

The game is the only one on today, starts at 1:30.

Carried on NFLN.

Certain sites of poor nature will likely carry the game, though it is illegal to stream the content and therefore do not post links to streaming games.

I would do that if my Thai gf and mother of my child wouldn't kill me or cut off my penis for doing that ! Plus, I don't drink but that is okay..... I would like to watch games with Bflo people though.

I live out a ways too, Ramintra area. Taxis would be a B word at 4am (or at least expensive). I have been wondering how to do it here. This one is on NFL network not sure even the True plan has it on (I stopped using dish tv 2 years ago) though. How do you usually watch the games here? The NFL internet thing is a pain, easier to find streams in my experience, tried it last year and cancelled after 2 games. The Damn government blocked it at my house!

BTW hope it is an injury free day for the Bills!

GO BILLS!

Why is Game Pass a pain for you? I live in Cape Town and feel like I've died and gone to heaven with Game Pass. I watch all the Bills games live and watch tons of others either live or later in the week with the condensed version. Love it. It's the easiest $200 I spend all year. I would assume Bangkok would have better bandwidth etc. than Cape Town but maybe not? Anyway, hats off to you since you have to watch the games even later than I do.

Of course I'm anxious to see EJ & our new WR's. We haven't had anything truely resembling a passing attack since Bledsoe, Moulds & Price, as our record has shown. For all the changes this off-season -which AREN'T front office Kool-aid- there is real anticipation for the new direction of the Bills.

I'm also looking forward to watching Kiko and Bradham play together. If one of last years' biggest issues is to be resolved, it's on these two players, scheme be damned IMO. I became a big fan of Ron Brooks while at LSU -even though he couldn't crack their starting line-up. This guy is a play-maker and we haven't had many of those. When he returned from injury last year, I thought he played VERY well and I'm pulling for him to step up and grap the open corner opposite the guy who kept him out of the Tigers starting line-up.

Also a chance to say good by to Rian Lindell..

It STARTS today!

A good way to watch this is something I learned back in HS from our DC and I have seen it applied at higher levels.

Watch the angle of the DL pressuring the OL. Is it is a straight line? Is it pocket? Is it pushed/skewed left or right? Then find your MLB. Put them in a triangle. Your DT's to MLB should form a triangle if they are doing their job. You want the pocket pressured from all sides with the DT's around the area of the OG's start position. The MLB should not be too far forward that he could not skim side to side to stop a break out scramble or other such things. It is a basic way to watch what is going on with the defense, should anyone care. I'm not saying you, Nanker, don't know how to watch defense...but some people don't.

Well, I don't know how to watch football with the best of them. B-)

Thanks for the tip. One thing I did learn as to where the play is designed to go - is to watch the weak-side guard (often the LG!). At the snap - whatever he does about 90% of the time dictates where the ball is going, i.e., a pass, run right, run left, run straight ahead, or screen play. Obviously its not a great predictor of a passing pattern, but in a split second after the snap, you can pretty much see where the play is headed.

Yea! Football is BACK!

Go Bills!

The government blocked it last year, they have a nasty habit of blocking websites, the NFL refunded my $. I could have complained probably but that other language thing...... I think the bandwidth is okay and I am pretty sure it was blocked in my area but worked in others. Not sure why. They block a lot of porno too and political things that they don't like, can't even get some very common sites. I am set with not paying though anyway (good at finding links, hah). But by the end of the season there are less and less available (I didn't buy it until week about 3 last year and cancelled in week 5, I think). PITA but it is what it is, life abroad.

Even though the roster is hovering near 90 players, as is the case with many of you there are at least 70 players who I'm familiar with in some way.

So even when they get down to a mix of 2nd and 3rd stringers in the 2nd half, there will still be plenty of players and storylines which I'll find interesting.

Also as Marrone stated, he wants his players to play aggressively and win the game and as we all know, it's always a bonus to win the game.

I don't care if we win a close game or win in a walk but I would like to see a win. Considering Indy is a playoff team it would make for a nice kickoff to the preseason.

Ah. That's a pain. Nothing is ever blocked here in SA, so that's good. Bandwidth is expensive, though. I used to just use the shady links, but between the lack of quality, the irritating ads, and the way they disappear in the middle of the game, I was more than happy to go legit, once I had the option.

You can stream all four games on the NFL Network for just $15 dollars if you use the "directv" promo code.
