It still has a battery. Just like the free plays (wind up)... When you push that button (or wind) you are charging the battery. This one appears to run soley on body heat? stevewin Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Not to take away from the ingenuity of the basic idea, but it looks to me that in practice (at least for now) it really isn't producing a strong beam of light to make a useful flashlight - it is just causing some low power LEDs to glow in the dark. Also, after a bit of time, the air inside the flashlight will equate in temperature to the body and the temperature gradient will be lost. What am I missing here ?
