Yea, thx for posting! I'm good with the top 3. As soon as I read 'struggles when primary target is covered... needs a clean pocket', I stop reading.. That's that ish I don't like! Can't wait to see who what happens.

^Not true. Whaley was there.

Indeed. But I'm still too shaky with Barkley to care too much. Maybe Fitz is too fresh in our memory but I'm getting a little tetchy at the mention of, "Great football IQ. no long range , but can sneak it into tight windows". That sounds just like Fitz before his play took a swan dive.

As much as I hate to say it, EJ Manuel is slowly winning me over, as there's a chance we can get him in round 2 and get a great WR or LB in round 1.

I find it incredibly unlikely EJ makes it past round 1.

Where did you read Barkley has no long range? Despite not having elite arm strength, the long ball is a strength of his game. He has good accuracy to all parts of the field and I've seen him throw about 58 yards in the air. He's no Fitz.

His issue is he doesn't get the same zip in the mid range that others do because he lacks a truly elite arm.

Matt Scott write up is intriguing. Is it worth taking him in the 3rd after picking up value picks at LB and WR (in no particular order). I wish he lasted until the 4th because I think that would be a great spot to take him. A taller Russell Wilson in the 3rd or 4th is better than a flop in the 1st.

This is the best breakdown of this yrs QB class I have seen so far this spring.

Read it and enjoy. http://www.eastcoast...B_Rankings.html

I think you will be surprised on Geno Smith's ranking.

Who is Al Fronczak? Googled but didn't find anything very clear on his background. "Our draft expert" "over 20 years experience scouting the draft" An uber-fan? Who?

I am surprised at a ranking that puts Manuel 2nd and Nassib 3rd over Smith.

according to Chris Brown in an interview a few months back on WGR the Bills and Nix apparently have questions about Smiths abilities to scan the field and read defenses. The comment was that he's a one side of the field player. He gets accolades because of his physical tools but as I harp on over and over... You want Smart QBs, not ones you have to limit your play book for.

I highly doubt they'd take him. And hope they don't.

I believe he was on Saturday Night Live and then went on to serve in Congress.

there was a pair of draft experts on WGR sunday morning talking about their publication, but not sure what their names were, definitely not a local show/people, and had G.Smith the 6th ranked QB and 103rd player overall. I really wish I caught the names...

if there's this many doubters on him, tough to imagine there's not a reason...
