BuffBill
The Chiefs, in particular Eric Berry have come out publicly and accused Stevie Johnson of intentionally trying (and succeeding) to hurt Berry in the season opener last year. Any chance they are out for revenge, and if so, I think it might be easier to get away with, with these replacement refs on the field.
Dorkington
Wouldn't be surprised. They are *still* talking about it, so it's obviously in their minds. Stevie will likely be taken out of the game at some point.

Cheap shots are generally policed by the league and the offender receives a fine or suspension. Refs have little ability to do anything beyond assess a 15 year penalty. As for the accusations, I'm sure there were some emotional comments made a year ago but has anyone on the Chiefs mentioned it lately? When I said "get away with it" I meant without a penalty being called. To answer your other questions, yes, I just read it yesterday where Eric Berry said something with regards to it, which is what got me thinking to start this topic. Just yesterday, Romeo Crennel was asked 4 or 5 times in a press conference about this issue, Stevie himself spoke of it yesterday, it is one of the hot topics in K.C. right now. Miyagi-Do Karate
Nothing's going to happen. Probably be like a hockey game, where there will be some minor scrum 30 seconds into the game, and that'll be the end of it.
metzelaars_lives
This isn't Karate Kid. Eric Berry does not want to face a potential suspension after just missing an entire season.
clearwater cadet
The chief should leave stevie alone, this will encourage fitz to throw the ball more. They can then intercept him all day.
ACor58
Stevie didn't do anything illegal. It was a clean block.
The Cincinnati Kid
Berry got hurt later in the game on a non-contact play. If his knee was weak after a clean downfield block by a WR his trainers and coaching staff should have done a better job of recognizing the potential for further injury and kept him on the sidelines. SJ13 isn't considered a dirty player by any stretch of the imagination. concur; if anything, maybe some hard shove or hit early in the game. But I doubt even that. Guarantee it will be uneventful. Berry has to worry about playing football too, not looking for a chance to take SJ out.

3rdand12
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYqXYwYOrB4 [ Motivation comes from a lot of places for athletes. I think the fact we won that game is enough for them. But truth be told, if they want to bring the big hits its about time we stepped up and started swinging back. I watched the game and the replays. This Johnson hit was piddly poo in the NFL. Now Austin Howards' hands inside Marios nostrils is something worth Official review. NewEra
I think everyone of the chiefs D will be eager to smack Stevie. Are they going to try and cheap shot him? I doubt it.
Boludo
stevie cut him. it was borderline dirty since he was coming sorta from behind and the side but it wasn't a hugely notable one by any stretch, just happened to result in an injury this time.
