Born in England

Family moved to Niagara Falls in 1954

Went to high school and college in WNY

Moved to the Washington, DC, area in 1983.

There are a lot of ex-Western New Yorkers in this area. About 5 years ago when Wegman's opened their first store in the DC area (about 12 minutes from my house) more than 10,000 people showed up on the first day, which was a Sunday. The sad part is that I'm sure 99 percent of those people are from upstate New York

Born in Pittsburgh

Moved to Buffalo in 1960 at the age of 3

Graduated Sweet Home High 1975.

College in Washington DC graduated 79' and have remained in the DC and VA area.

Many Bills fans in the area.

DC area is a solid sports area. VA is not very sports minded...the further into VA you go,

the more Nascar becomes the national sport.

The only time I can get a decent pizza is when I come back to visit Buffalo.

Born in Kenmore in '74.

Lived in North Tonawanda for the first 25 years of my life.

Went to NTHS, NCCC, UB, Buff State, and entering my last semester at Canisius.

Left Buffalo in '99 to move to CA. Then moved to FL. Now live in Northern VA in metro DC area.

Wife and moved back to Buffalo to give it a try, but it was a miserable year. Unless the politics/ job climate of WNY/ NY changes or we become wealthy, we probably will not be returning to Buffalo to live any time soon.

Nice to meet you.

My wife and I were both born and raised in Buffalo area and now live in Northern VA!

We like going to Jimmy's Old Town Tavern in Herndon, VA for fish fry's. I still buy my Molson Canadian's at Wegmans here in Ashburn, VA, and DirecTV has me locked down for the Bills and Sabres.

But you are so right....pizza is not the same.

Howdy, neighbor!

Northern VA (where my wife and I live) is sports-minded. Being so close to DC, the Caps, 'Skins, and Nat's are big here.

Nothing beats the 'ol Pizza Junction pizza in NT- I think they are now called 'The Good Guys' and moved to the corner of Ruie and Nash(?). Man, each slice weighs like 5 lbs!

Have you ever gone to Jimmy's in Herndon?

born in buffalo in 1952, graduate of south park high school in 1970. went to college at hilbert, buff state, rec'd degree from UB.. worked for the govt until 2007 and retired at 55. moved to the philly area in late 2008 to be near children (and grandchild) who naturally had to relocate for job reasons. the pizza here sucks, philly cheesesteaks are overrated in my opinion, did get a wegman's near my home to make eating bearable. have the ticket, get the center ice package and really jealous of the flyers.
