    Sofia Coppola wasn’t believable, but she was a replacement for Winona Ryder who backed out to make Edward Scissorhands.

    This week’s show was pretty solid throughout. I think who the guest host is plays a big part. Some of them who are there just to promote their next project don’t have comedy chops. The worst part consistently are the musical acts. Most I’ve never heard of, and I just fast forward my DVR recording. But the political humor is consistently good.

    Started watching Marvel’s The Runaways on Hulu. A mix of the X-Men and The Breakfast Club. It has the same feel as The Gifted on Fox. They use real Marvel characters, but I never read those books so I can’t say how similar the teens are. Teens discovering their powers as their rich parents work together on some dark secrets. I’d recommend it.

    I really hate when they have scenes in the dark. Maybe it’s my old eyes, but I can’t make out a lot of what’s going on. Why not mow the Whisperers down? Next week’s preview shows that one of them is carrying a baby, and they have the two hostages. Alpha says they’ll leave if they give them her daughter.

    I could see Carol slipping in the face skin and going undercover to infiltrate the Whisperers. It’s her kind of skill.

    Watched Ant Man & The Wasp on Netflix. I thought it was better than the first movie. Lots of funny moments. But the end felt a bit rushed, like they left some details on the cutting room floor.

    Try pouring a can of Coke on it. I’ve heard it can dissolve a lot of things.

    I think Marvel is going to do like DC and set up their own pay network. So some of the shows that were on Netflix may come back. I read that Marvel is considering a Vision & Scarlet Witch series.

    Why didn’t the Rams line dive at Brady and call a time out. A chance at a fumble or he backs into end zone.

    I’ve been watching the 2nd season of The Punisher on Netflix. Good action in every episode so far.

    A couple of free sites to sell things are Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. My wife has sold stuff we wanted to get rid of on both. Set a reasonable price and see what happens.
