That last squib kick took four seconds, just sayin...
-
Yup, it will never ever be set up as easy as it was with a victory last week. I honestly don't think they will ever get to the Super Bowl. There is too much that is needed and they had all of those things in place this year.
-
This is exactly why I will not be watching one second of this game
-
This just makes it that much worse knowing that we would have cruised into the Superbowl and anyone who thinks differently, was not watching Josh Allen last week. Wave 2 throw the trophy in the garbage can in 13 seconds coaches.

Where is everyone? The parking lot is empty. I finally convinced myself that it never really happened and this is the thanks I get... -
Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been
BuffaloBaumer replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am really hoping for a Bengals Victory which would definitely take some of the sting out of this whole nightmare. We should be prepping for what would have been a tailgate of all tailgates... -
Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been
BuffaloBaumer replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
This weekend would have been euphoria. I just keep remembering what a surreal feeling it was being in that stadium at halftime vs the Raiders KNOWING that my Buffalo Bills were going to the Super Bowl. This city was so ready to have that feeling again, and then....poof -
Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been

It won't be until some players on defense are on different teams and they will be ok to tell someone what really happened. The fact that it was so avoidable is what I can't get over. You literally had to try and lose that game with their formations or they thought they were up by 4 instead of 3. -
Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been
BuffaloBaumer replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, there is just something worse about the coaches letting the team down than a player making a mistake. There was just ZERO reason to have this happen and it will never make sense as to what they could have been thinking. I truly believe that SOMEONE thought during the flurry of 24 points in 2 minutes (2 point and 1 point conversions) that they were up by 4 and not 3. nothing else makes sense, NOTHING. -
Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been

I am not sure what is going on as I really thought I was through the tough stretch of emotions. Knowing that KC is hosting in 2 days is just gutting me again. I know it's all been said but these 13 seconds just won't go away. I know that we should all be happy that Allen is our QB (and that is an understatement because he's the best player in the NFL) but it still doesn't help that what ifs. Who would have ever thought Rogers would win 1 SB over all these years? I am just going to bullet point the pain and then hopefully I can move on from this nightmare: 3 just brainless plays had to happen in order to lose that game. Just avoid ONE moronic playcall and the Bills are playing on Sunday Buffalo had the healthiest roster they could ever want heading into the Championship Allen was literally playing the best football anyone has ever see in the history of the playoffs All the QBs who were going to be obstacles were knocked out of the playoffs and we were 13 seconds from achieving the ultimate KO in KC Watching all the highlights all week long and enjoying all the hype was torn away (too painful to watch). The Allen hype would have been just bliss I had friends and family flying in from all over the country and the tailgate being prepared would have been 1 for the ages Being at the game knowing that if they win, Super Bowl celebration would have been a memory of all memories The 2 weeks of joy leading up to the Super Bowl watching every possible clip you could find on TV/radio, etc.. The mood of the city if they had won this weekend....I wanted it so badly for everyone They will have more chances but will they ever have a better chance? I don't think so.....players and coaches leaving, health, AFC only getting stronger and stronger Thanks for the therapy session as I really hope there are some responses to get me past this feeling. Never did I think it could be worse than wide right....and it is.- 53 replies

I think everyone feels that way..the problem is that the Bills are what distracts us from those bigger issues and brings us all together for a common goal. The coaches tore that away from us in 13 seconds.
-
If you don't care about Winning a Super Bowl, I guess that's overreacting. It was there and the coaches made one of the biggest mistakes in NFL history

If Brady retires, would you want Gronk for one season here?
BuffaloBaumer replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
The last thing I would ever want is to let Gronk ride the coattails of a Super Bowl victory in Buffalo -
What does Allen work on this summer?
BuffaloBaumer replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
The most important thing he needs to work on is whatever new offense is being installed. There will be tons of changes including receivers which is why the coaches losing the Super Bowl this year hurts so much. -
Mic'd up: Kelce outsmarted McDermott/Frazier
BuffaloBaumer replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
THis is exactly why it was the biggest loss in Buffalo sports history. The ending was totally preventable and just cost the city its first championship. Allen's contract kicks in next year so not nearly the same amount of money to spend on FAs They will have to relearn 1 if not 2 different systems next year Jerry Hughes will be gone Beasley and/or McKenzie will be gone They will never be that healthy again going into an AFC Championship game -
A FG attempt would have never been made if they had kicked it properly, that is the whole point. They would have only had 1 play and then a hail mary instead of 2 and then a kick. It was a monumental error...
-
The only question that needs to be asked is how on God's green earth did your defensive coordinator throw the Super Bowl trophy in the trash in a matter of 13 seconds. Nobody ever needs to look anything further about this season when talking about the only reason they did not win the Super Bowl this year.
-
My sentiments exactly, except this was #1 because I have teenage kids now who were also heartbroken, anticipating going to the AFC Championship game with me. THat will never happen and the reason this hurts more is because the coaching threw this game away in 13 seconds while Norwood just missed. The players did not lose this game, the coaches did, and that is what is impossible to accept. This coaching staff will never win a Super Bowl, ever.

Only ways this loss would have hurt more...
BuffaloBaumer replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
It could not get any worse, the coaches literally stole what would have been one of the best sports memories of all time. The perfect storm of stupidity robbed this city of a championship and all that goes with it. Trying to convince yourself otherwise is just self defense. -
Just absolutely heartbroken for my kids. Leslie Frasier during those 13 seconds ripped away what would have been one of the best memories ever. If McDermott can look at Josh Allen in the eye today, Frasier needs to be fired asap. AFC championship this weekend never happened, and all that would have gone with it...13 seconds of sheer stupidity, thanks Frasier

It was all lined up for a SB victory, then poof, gone
BuffaloBaumer replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
All the qbs who could have outdueled us were knocked out. This was THE year and Frasier threw up all over himself. He will forever be the reason they blew the best opportunity to hoist the ultimate prize. He needs to be fired this morning if those players are going to have respect for McDermott. You can't just hope things change next year, this is the ONLY change that can be made. -
It wasn't the kick, it was going prevent with 13 seconds. Dumbest coaching move of all time
-
Outside of wide right, this hurts the most. Leslie Frazier just lost the Super Bowl tonight with prevent defense. Way to let a whole city down with your incompetence
-
Worst loss in Bills history, just awful
