Oline and defensive backfield are decimated. The loss has nothing to do with it. This is Ravens part 2 at the end of week 3.

For me, #1 seed is a distant memory. I have not gotten to the point where playoffs are in jeopardy but division title doubts are creeping in.

I still think that the two worst playcalls of the day were 1) Not going after Tua on 3rd and 22 2) Being up 7-0, forcing Miami to punt, and then handing the ball to Moss on 1st and 2nd down for minimal gains to start 2nd drive (led to sack fumble). Honestly, that frustration stuck with me the entire game as it mad ZERO, I mean ZEROOOO sense.

For sure that was the 1 major blunder of the day

Blame the heat, the injuries, the drops, the missed, fgs, the off-throws by Allen, but nobody better be blaming the defense for a second. This also brings into the conversation that McDermott has his hands all over this defense and the schemes they come up with every week. He is regarded as arguably the best defensive coach in the game. The offense failed yesterday and there is no reason to look any further. This offense is the best in the NFL by a mile and obviously the heat played a big factor into decision making, speed, and flat-out exhaustion. Look at the other teams in the AFC yesterday and how they lost. As soon as these guys are even 75% healthy, there is nothing that can stop them. A 2 point loss in Miami, in that heat, with those types of injuries, with a chance to win in the last minute? How they almost pulled that off is a miracle to begin with.

KC loss was very similar to the Bills (minus the injuries). Kielce dropped a gimme td and they missed an easy fg. KC should have won and they are still the team to beat. The Chargers, wow, that was bad. Buffalo healthy, best team in nfl by far.

I was ready to take the Mulligan today and except the loss because of injuries. The painful part is that the game could have easily been one minus some really stupid play calling, mistakes by some players and uncharacteristic decision making by Allen. #1 seed all but guarantees Super Bowl in my opinion and a win today goes a long way. That game meant something and depending on injuries, it could mean a lot more than you think.
