  1. Jay Skurski‏Verified account @JaySkurski 10s10 seconds ago More Complete terms, via a league source: #Bills trade Cordy Glenn, picks No. 21 (first round) and No. 158 (fifth round) for picks No. 12 (first round) and No. 187 (sixth round).
  2. Above average backup, below average starter, but a class act all the way. I wish Tyrod the best and thank him for his part in ending the playoff drought.
  3. That's horrible news. Prayers to Jim and his family.
  4. It's a shame some guys can't adjust to life outside of football. RIP Eddins. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-ex-bills-lb-eddins-was-executed-by-drug-dealers/ar-BBJtkcK?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=ACERSIGDHP17
  5. They might be able to get a 4th or 5th round pick for Tyrod is they're lucky. Otherwise, I think the Bills will cut him before March 16th.
  6. Russ was all talk. I remember that press conference when he said the Bills brand has been tarnished and he would leave no stone unturned to make the Bills a better team. What a joke!
  7. We know that about Wade as he had numerous chances as HC. Pete Carroll did not have a great run his first time as an NFL HC,but is doing much better this time around. Looks like we could see how Josh McDaniels does as a HC again next season. The point I’m trying to make is that past results don’t guarantee what someone will do in the future. Those that are smart learn from their mistakes. I would have much rather seen Schwartz as the HC than Rex Ryan as Schwartz had the players for his type of defense.
  8. The guy who had the #4 ranked defense in the NFL, which led the league in sacks. So if everyone went by your logic, Bill Belichick should not have been given a second chance to become a Head Coach.
  9. I wish that happened as we wouldn't have wasted two years on Rex. I wish that happened as we wouldn't have wasted two years on Rex.
  10. Agreed. I'm not a fan of using first round draft picks on DB's unless the team is already a contender because of how much it costs to resign the player. I'd rather draft a player in the first round that has the potential to be on the team longer than his rookie deal, otherwise it seems like you're constantly recycling through players. I'll have to admit that I wasn't a fan of using a first round pick on Tre'Davious White, but after seeing him play this season, I'd say it was the correct/smart choice. Like you said, it is a tough call. One thing is for sure, it's nice to have good talent evaluators again [Beane and McDermott] as they picked up Hyde, Poyer, Gaines (via trade) and White. Going into the season, people thought the secondary was going to be a major weakness, but it turned out to be the strength of the defense.
  11. Yes, I watch it regardless of who is in it, even though I'm sick of the Patriots.
  12. If the Eagles play like they did last night, then yes, I think they'll beat the Patriots.
  13. Good CB’s are very hard to afford after their rookie deals as their second contracts are astronomical, so it wasn’t a wise move to resign Gilmore considering all the holes on the team. Gilmore had a great game today and IMO made the play of his career with the PBU at the end of the fourth quarter.
  14. Agreed. With playing against an elite QB twice a year [Brady], the Bills need an elite QB that can compete against him and be able to put up 30 points or more against the Patriots (instead of three points).
  15. The Cleveland Browns have the first and fourth picks in the draft this year. The Browns are almost certain to take the best QB in the draft. With that being said, I wonder if Cleveland would be a willing trade partner with the Bills for the #4 spot? I’m sure it would take at least both Bills first round picks, a second rounder and who knows what else that could entice the Browns (maybe including a player on the current Bills roster or a 2019 draft pick included?)
  16. I liked Lawson against the run but was disappointed in his pass rush abilities. Hopefully the Bills are able to get a good draft pick in return or do a player swap (like with Indy for Hughes).
  17. Breaking the 17 year playoff drought is one of the happiest moments I’ve had as a Bills fan. Here’s a list of my top five favorite moments: 1. The Pegula’s winning the bid to buy the Bills 2. The Bills beating the Raiders 51-3 to advance to their first Super Bowl 3. Ending the 17 year playoff drought 4. Snapping the 15 game losing streak to the Patriots 5. Beating the Patriots 31-0 in the 2003 season opener What are some of your favorite Bills moments?
  18. Now that the 17 year streak is over with, is the “Flutie Curse” officially over?
  19. Huge morale booster! Thank you Bills and Bengals!
  20. My opinion on McDermott was reserved all season long, mainly because of the previous 17 years, all the fast starts, disappointments and letdowns. Even today, I kept thinking about the 2004 season when the Bills needed to beat the Steelers and lost to their backups. While McDermott is not perfect, he has done something no other Bills coach has done in over 17 years and that’s make the playoffs. It’s a huge morale booster! I’m trusting the process and drinking the kool aid. Go Bills!
