As far as the Jets new coach, the Bills shredded the 69ers secondary when Sahlen’s was the DC, so expect Allen and the Bills WR’s to continue to do the same thing over the next 15 years. Adam “Head” Gase ruined your QB Darnold. Sammy will unfortunately be a backup the rest of his career, so good luck finding a new QB since youze guys lost out on the Johnny Lawrence sweepstakes to the Jags. I have no clue if Sensei Meyer will turn the Jags and Lawrence into Cobra Kai, but the Jets will never get to find out for themselves. I think Sahlen’s will get the Jets back to where the Bills used to be, a 7-9/8-8 team. Go Bills!

This reminds me of then 1993 season when the Bills lost to the Chiefs in the regular season (23-7) and got redemption in the AFC championship game (30-13).

K-Gun offense being a running team? I’d have to disagree. While the K-Gun offense of the 90’s was a more balanced offense (passing/rushing) than the current Bills, the Bills threw more than they ran it.

Agree 100% I think if the Bills had more experience (whether practice or game), they could make the determination on how far they could throw it (as you pointed out 25-30 yards) and don’t bother attempting anything beyond that.

Not sure if they are or how often? Listening to WGR, it was mentioned the team had a practice inside the Fieldhouse which was closed to the media. I get that the team has to conduct practices away from the media as to not give away anything for the game. But they also need the experience of practicing in the elements inside the stadium so the team is not impacted by the weather. I remember during the playoff drought when we played the Steelers at the Ralph, Bills players were sliding and falling all over the place, while the Steelers were prepared for the weather and beat the Bills easily.

One thing about the Superbowl teams of the 90‘s is that they were great at home in cold/snowy/windy weather. I think for the current Bills to be able to do better at Bills stadium is that they need more practice inside the stadium during the winter months. During the game last night, we saw Allen and Singletary slip on the ground a couple of times. Both QB’s struggled with deep passes due to the wind. I think if the Bills had more practice in those conditions, they could realize how far they could/couldn’t accurately throw the ball. Same goes with attempting FG’s. This isn’t a knock on the team. The weather impacted both teams offenses last night. I remember back in the 90’s when teams did not want to come to Buffalo for the playoffs because of the weather as it was an advantage for the Bills. It would be great to see the Bills use the weather to their advantage. Go Bills!

The only thing Whaley was good at was bringing in good FA’s, but otherwise, he sucked. I remember Brandon said before going into that draft “We’re going to be bold!” More like, “going to be stupid!” Trading up in the first round for a WR in a WR heavy class was absolutely stupid! Brandon also told the Pegula’s not to let Rex Ryan out the door. Glad the Pegula’s did the smart thing and got rid of the dead weight that was holding the franchise back. Any ways, it’s all in the past. Let’s enjoy going back to the AFC championship game! Been way too long!!

Bills went years without a defensive touchdown and now they have three on the year with Taron’s pick six being one of the best plays in Bills postseason history!
