The shadow 17 casts is mighty… poor bast*rd
-
The bottom line is in the postseason Allen has played at a level that no QB has ever reached in the NE wildcard game, against arguably the greatest defensive mind of all time. Allen’s level of play that night was so ridiculous, Bellichick was compelled to enter the Bills locker room after the game, seek out Allen at his stall and shake his hand, a virtually unheard of gesture. In the playoffs… Mahomes is Mahomes Burrow has been good Lamar has been bad Allens 9 TDs 0 TOs and his play over those two playoff games in 2021 are unmatched by any QB ever.

Josh Allen: which ways will he struggle and shine?
julian replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think he struggles with anything other than over coming poor coaching, play calling and roster injuries. Allen shines with his leadership this year, finally taking hold of this team and leading as an elite veteran. -
How close is Allen to Mahomes if all things were equal?
julian replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bingo…. And just watching them play football it’s obvious Allen is bigger, stronger, faster and is just the biggest single highlight machine in football. rings are something that falls under team success with many different contributing factors, if you just showed non football fans a 30 min video of Mahomes and Allen playing at their highest level and asked who they believed to be thought of as the better player… the answer would Allen and I’m guessing by an almost unanimous vote. -

Allen… has more tools in his bag than any QB in history, he can just do more than every other QB -
Name one player you hope you are wrong about...
julian replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can’t really think of a player who I’m convinced is bad. All I have is McDermott… I hope I’m wrong and he’s able to lead this team to a title. -
These are the two question marks I immediately think of, if there’s an area I trust McDermott to be good regardless of changes, it’s safety and defensive back. If Coleman is good out the gate, then that’s great but if it takes him some time I think they can win while bringing him along. McGovern needs to be good immediately, if he struggles that’s more deficiencies Josh has to make up for and could be costly.

Von Miller ready to prove the critics wrong
julian replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Von steps on the field for the first time this season in the 2nd preseason game and gets two sacks, he’s then escorted to the bench, bubble wrapped and stored away until week one. -
Humans will be seen as gods and their great creators by the robots, and once we die off and the robots make their inevitable interplanetary move they will speak of their fleshy gods from a far away planet and all the others will be in disbelief that these useless creatures had the ability to give birth to the machines.

I just hope he stays away from play calling and gets outta the way, he’s a great defensive mind but he’s proven to be outmatched come the playoffs. When you have the most physically gifted QB of all time and one of the 3 best players in the league and you find yourself 10th on any HC list, it’s time to go. I believe they can win it all with him as HC, as long as he’s not calling the plays in the postseason and stays outta the way.

According to PFF Connor McGovern is good
julian replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would be my preference as well, keeping the left and right sides of the line intact would be nice. -
Josh Allen.......over/under 10.5 Rushing TD's???

100%.. it’s an advantage only a couple teams enjoy, crazy not to lean into it -

I’ve been one of the minority or maybe I’ve been the only poster lol to take a wait and see approach to McGovern due to his lack of Center play at the NFL level. The more I’ve seen him interviewed in the last couple months, the more comfortable I’ve become, he gives off good vibes. Maybe he flourishes at C and I’m thinking the coaches let Morse go in large part due to what they’ve seen from McGovern behind the scenes. -
I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
julian replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see plenty of conservative estimations with Kincaid, I’ll go out on that limb I guess 100+ rec 1250 yards 8 TDs -
This seems correct, if I’m the Bills I want that extension now for the numbers you suggested and I’m sure Rousseau is thinking if I bet on myself and hit double digit sacks then I’m getting a massive bag. Interesting situation.

Von Miller/Epenesa/Groot.......over/under 20 combined sacks??

Plenty of people are addicted to being an “ally” for many different underrepresented groups, it feels good to think you’re helping those in need, even when most of those groups could care less about a flag football league lol. The heavy lifting was done in the late 60s 70s and 80s where the LGBTQ community was under actual threat of physical violence and prejudice. The current western society is so accepting that there’s no “civil rights” fight for the allies. I’m sure if you could wind the clock back and tell the gay communities who were fighting for their legal rights and personal safety that in 50 years the fights would be over gay flag football they would laugh and cry tears of joy at that ridiculous prospect.

Valid points, I obviously don’t mean every single last company or corporation, but most and certainly an organization like the NFL and it’s 32 teams that have been populated and run by straight white many for 100 years. I think it’s safe to assume there isn’t some internal uprising in the ranks to push for diversity like you would see in the tech industry.

Just understand these corporations and these professional sports teams are virtue signaling, hitting their DEI numbers, if this helps someone feel better about being gay then great, I just laugh at it and move on, as do the gay people in my life.

And with the advent of the internet and social media more importantly, many children are being indoctrinated and thus becoming confused. Tom boys and feminine boys/men are being swayed to believe there’s something wrong with them and they’re actually gay or trans. In years past the majority would grow up heterosexual or gay. My nephew is gay, my wife and I knew he was gay when he was 4-5 years old playing with our kids. When my sister told us he came out he was gay as a teenager we laughed and told her we’ve known for 10 years lol. Gay people like everyone else are not a monolith, there’s plenty of gay and trans people who just want to live their lives without all the flags and parades and hoopla, who’s sexuality isn’t a driving force in their daily lives, I understand there’s plenty of folks who feel differently and that’s ok too.
