  2. Chris Brown has been reporting that Hamdan was doing well on more the one occassion during the otas and trainingcamp; also just watch the highlight vids and see Hamdan steal the play of the day more then once versus only once by Fitzpatrick. Buffalorumblings have been reporting very negatively on him but very positive on D. Bell whilst other sources are not that hot on D. Bell. In the end it's indeed in the eye of the beholder. Fitzpatrick has indeed been growing to a point where he looked good, his last couple of practises have been so so again though. Saying Hamdan couldnt beat out JP is bull sh--. Hamdan was promoted #2 over JP for the last couple of games of last season and would have started had Trent not returned. NFL is money and politics, no way Hamdan would have been #2 behind the former 1st round draft pick that still had the fans divided, no matter how good. Game experience is the reason they brought in Fitzpatrick, Hamdan is not without experience either though given his NFL Europe background, however that dates back to 2006 and Fitzpatrick was putting in time last year. For now I'm saying Hamdan is a really good #3 untill we've seen more on the real NFL level which I doubt will really happen. He does seem to fill an important role with the support in preperation and the scout team though.
  3. That's my cue isn't it? You are correct however, Hamdan was 2005 NFL Europe MVP, despite playing only 7 games that year (broke his ankle and bruiised the other one) no QB's even got close to his yardage/td number. Plus, Hamdan owns the NFL Europe record book, passed for a perfect rating during one game, and more importantly looked a hell of a lot better then Warner, Shaun Hill and Jake Delhomme to name a few whilst playing for the Amsterdam Admirals. Personally he's my alltime Admirals quarterback and most if not all former Amsterdam Admirals fans feel that way. He was granted most of the playtime in the #4 pre-season game last year and looked solid. He was checking down a lot though, but was moving the ball consistently. They got into FG range once (missed I FG I believe) and were in scoring position at least 3 times (all three times the running back fumbled the ball and loss it). He was under heavy pressure throughout most of the game, and even got a safety against (the safety was whistled in, before he was actually touched, even so in the whistle he did dump off the ball for what would have been a major completion). Then late 3rd or early 4th he was sacked hard from his blindside and had to leave the game with a concussion. All in all I thought he was looking good, albleit a bit rusty but more importantly he was showing his vision and decission making quite well, he suffered from poor performances of 1 receiver (dropped about 6 out of 7 passes of which one was overthrown a little) and 1 runningback, still he was moving the ball. Some receivers seemed to struggle a bit to hold onto the ball (Hamdan throws extremly hard), Steve Johnson was great however. I could see the Hamdan I know, the scoreboard not sadly.
  4. I guess the Chroise was too much too handle for their dvr... :/
  5. Thx! Just the article though not the vid... :/

  8. Heh, at least it didn't say "Maintance".
  9. Hi Tim, Both of the backup quarterbacks in Hamdan and Fitz seem to be struggling, is this due to their own ability or could it be related to the backup o-line or simply a lack of reps? Hamdan seemed to do a lot better during camp last year, it does seem a bit wierd to see such a degrading performance where as he's got a year more under his belt, with Fitz struggling as well I started to wonder if there wouldnt be any other underlying causes. Cheers, Bla
  10. I wonder if it's down to insufficient reps or the quality of the #2/3 o-line that both Hamdan and Fitz are struggling, where Hamdan was doing fine during camp last year.
  11. Thx, for the update! Hopefully Hamdan just had a major day off. Not like him at all to be fumbling.
  12. Euhrm... I just wanted to see the hotty...
  13. 404 on both of em...
  14. More like 6-8 weeks. Murder 1 = 1 week, throwing chewinggum on the pavement suspension for the season.
  15. What was the question again?
  16. Bah I want warantee with that.
  17. Funny stuff; seems Hamdan will be participating in the NFL Broadcast bootcamp: http://www.jaguars.com/news/article.aspx?id=7920
  18. Aye, he looks to be a kid that can make something happen everytime. Also Hamdan was doing pretty well judging from todays highlight reel.
  19. This is something Hamdan did with great success back in Europe as well; it really showed with QB/WR chemistry especially early on.
  20. You get a job at the other side of the country; say in New Orleans for the duration of one year. Do you: A. Rent for a year or B. Buy yourself a house
  21. Who is Hamden? What position does he play? He any good?
  22. From Chris Brown: "CB: I would still like to see more of Ryan Fitzpatrick in this offensive system before passing judgment, but Fitzpatrick was a backup candidate that I liked going into the free agency period. So I’m not worried at all. His arm looked like it needed a week to warm up in the OTA setting, but he’s been much more accurate and decisive here in week two. I think he’s getting a better handle on the system and he throws a nice fade ball in the end zone. He’s not as physically gifted as Trent, but I think he’s more than capable. Gibran could challenge him, but I think ultimately Fitzpatrick will be the backup."

  24. Ah Skooby is infected with the Chroise! Warner was QB for the Amsterdam Admirals (Al Luginbill, Amsterdams coach at the time scouted him and was able to get him a tryout and NFL Europe contract for the Rams (NFLE teams were obligated to have a QB under NFL contract), Warner entered the 99 campaign as the third string QB but managed to work himself up to second string during camp. Trent Green injured and there Warner was suddenly starting. Hamdan was the Amsterdam Admirals QB for 05 and 06. Just saying.
