Fitz is having a great year and looks to be impoving game by game, if he keeps this up forget about getting a QB imho.

Classic discussion from the days of NFL Europe as well... Can a well gelled, well coached, winning team that tops their league win from a struggling team at the bottom of the NFL that should have more talent and quality onboard. I'm in the top team from other league can win corner tbh. It's not just a game of pure quality of the players but also a huge part is teamplay and coaching, the winning team has it all their people in the right places yet the loosing team may have more quality but certainly has other issues. For instance the Amsterdam Admirals team of 2005 would have done well in the bottom half of the NFL for sure. Then again that team had players that made it into the pro bowl 2 years later...

a QB needs time to develop and mature, even if you throw him in there straight from college. His first year is going to be a learning year. Exceptions aren't the rule.

Didnt exactly work for Washington either did it? The combination is what is important, get your playmakers and future big names through the draft whilst adding base quality through FA. Solely the draft or solely FA doesnt work. That's what gave the Patriots* their bowls, the combination, the last couple of years they seem to have switched to a rely on lower round draft picks but higher volume kinda strategy. Which could work if you have a lot more staff in place to actually groom them, but looking at the Pats* defense rating in the NFL i'm tempted to say their strategy seems to be failing at least on the defensive side of the ball.

Smith is terrible, he was outplayed by Shawn Hill couple years ago, then lost his starting job to Hill again last year only to get it back when Hill wasnt doing too well. Hill is qb-ing for the Lions now and doing well btw, also of note is that Hill was the QB before Hamdan came to the Amsterdam Admirals... and well... ill shutup...

I dont think there was much Walker hate, I think there was even a lot of surprise when he was cut after the failed LT experiment, general concensus was keep him as RT. Peters. Meh, sure we've gotten worse without him but I still think that wsa a good move, especially when you see what he did and is doing in Philly.
