  1. Big bust potential too. That said I like the gamble.

  3. It's just so sour at times... I hate that both organisation and players just cant get past all the money stuff and go all in to win together. Wouldnt it be great if everyone would be on a base salary including FO and coaches and they would all be paid based on the performance of the team at the end of the year... Let the game be the game... Ow well guess I need to get over it... and accept this part of the game...
  4. Not just his. It feels like one part of the organisation is trying to built a winner where another part of the organisation is just trying to be as profitable as possible without regard for results.
  5. A good coach solves the trust issue EJ had with SJ instead of just letting him be dealt away. Would be ironic if we make it to the big one and end up versus the niners and SJ makes the winning TD heh. Broke? Who's saying anything about broke...
  6. His contract (without the signing bonus which will count against our cap with or without trade): 2014 Base: $3,650,000 Workout Bonus: $275,000 Cap #: $3,925,000 2015 Base: $5,500,000 Roster Bonus: $250,000 Workout Bonus: $275,000 Cap #: $6,025,000 2016 Base: $5,850,000 Workout Bonus: $275,000 Cap #: $6,125,000 Find me one quality number 2 receiver for that kind of money. Stupid business move is a stupid business move. There may be other reasons behind this trade, such as complete lack of chemistry between him and EJ and maybe even struggles with coach. But a good coach would fix that.
  7. hmmmpfff ok my bad, still point is that is the return we got for SJ... a year to year will he even make the team receiver...
  8. Yet he outplayed two round 2 picks (Easley and Graham)... Not so sure about that value...
  9. A fourth rounder from the niners is nearly a fifth... Even if conditions are met we'd still only get a very early 4th round pick... :/ Don't like it at all.
  10. Jup, I'll even go farther, I'd rather have them get in trouble in college (isnt that what college is far anyway) and learn from it than to be knocking over pedestrians with their SUV or claiming to be worth millions etc...
  11. We've got the cap so screw it, keep him, he's earned it and allows for versatility with the gameplans as well (start Watkins, Woods, Williams one week and Watkins, Woods, Johnson another).
  12. Yet his NFL.com Draft profile basicly says development project (a good one at that): http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/cyrus-kouandjio?id=2543482
  13. Petine his scheme depends on lots of strong versatile corners, that corner was certainly a need with the system Petine brings.
  14. It all comes down to how the team, EJ and Hackett perform this year. Ow and how the yearly change of defensive scheme will go (that must be so frustrating for our defensive players). The FO clearly is going all in and is betting on a winning season, even playoffs. The schedule is there, if the stars align we might go a long way, if that's the case then this move will be viewed as brilliant. If we end the season with another loosing record you bet the new owner will be replacing a whole damn lot in the staff and FO.
  15. It's all politics. Now the NFL has the chance to force a new stadium, or at least hope that one or more bidders will vouch for a new stadium.
  16. Ok, I'll bite... May as well take him then...
  17. Nice! Should keep that permanent imho.
  18. I've heard that before... *cough* 7 eleven *cough*... Being open on the wrong side of the side line doesn't count.
  19. Euhrm, how does a student afford a diamond ring like that?
  20. I doubt Putin cares, he allready has a superbowl ring!
