  1. Give him his Bills shirt! Wow, he's one of the few Patriots* I've consistently admired for his play and dominance. Wierd how perception can be so different.
  2. Why the hell did we sign this guy, his last name does not fit the team at all.
  3. The good thing about it is that he has had all offseason to learn from it and excercise to be better in this year. Same with Legursky, hopefully either one of them will step it up this year. My money is on Williams beating out Legursky though.
  4. It just occured to me that the addition of another nickel might be specifially targeted at playing the Pats* and other teams/systems who have basicly two guys in the slot.
  5. Wouldnt surprise me if they try this after the succesfull project Williams was (is). Also wouldnt surprise me if they grab Carol with the intention to move him to FS. I disagree, the hype was justified given his year 1 performance. He looked even better prior to his injury, then after the injury it was bad but actually getting better each game, especially once he was playing without his cask. Basicly the season was a disaster for Gilmore, let's hope he bounces back this year.
  6. I disagree, we only have two good CB's on the roster and one good nickel. He has the metrics and scout report to convert to safety though. Might be the Bills are looking to do just that after the succesfull Wiliams move?
  7. You need 2 parties to be willing in order to reach agreement on a contract extension.
  8. I think a large portion of it has to do with some of the rules being subjective. Like PI. I remember a tackle on Manning a good 2 seconds after the ball cleared that wasnt called. The point the OP is making is not that the Broncos would have/should have/could have but were denied by the refs or anything, the point is that some teams are allowed to get away with PI, holding or roughing calls when in other games teams ae blown out of the water for them. And I think the OP is right. Refs should call consistently but the aren't. I liked the way the game was called, no discussion there, however as the OP said it wasn't on par with how other games have been called this year.
  9. It was indeed, but so was the PI that wasnt called. Anyway, after the inital shock of the Broncos screwing up in every possible way has worn off, I find myself hoping for a comeback and somewhat of a game but it's not very much a game atm... More a punishment of the Broncos.
  10. This! I fail to understand why everyone is smacking TG, the response EJ gave is alarming to say the least. Why be so arrogant as to ask if he thinks they should draft a new QB. The kid has proven nothing, nothing. That he hasnt proven anything isnt a big issue btw, he had a rough rookie campaign. I'll reserve judgement for his second season. But the response EJ gave is telling in the sense that he thinks he has arrived. I dont think it will do much with regards to his working ethic but the mental part of it is what worries me. Throughout the year more and more evidence was presented about some mental issues with EJ and being arrogant does not equal being confidenent on the field. It's a sign of an underlaying feeling of being insecure.
  11. Mack, let's built an all Pro Bowl defense...
  12. I disagree, EJ asked Graham and he responded in truth (his truth but still). I think it shows honesty above anything else. EJ needs to stop thinking that he has arrived, if he even does that, he needs to fight to become good then continue to fight to become elite. The point that is missed in all of this is that EJ acted very immature by countering with a "Think they should?". Shows EJ has self confidence issues that he masks well. Also anyone consider that maybe the interview was done anyway?
  13. I disagree, I'd say the smart bet are the Broncos.
  14. Shaun Hill would be funny, he was Gibran Hamdan his predecessor in NFL Europe with the Amsterdam Admirals.
  15. Jeah that be my board as well, LB at 1, CB somewhere in the later rounds rest all offense especially linemen and TE.
  16. You know... The Pats* do allow themselves to bring emotion to the table. Sure they come across as sore losers (which gives us joy) but if you think about it; do we have a QB that cries if he doesnt make the playoffs, do we have a coach that says silly stuff only fans would say after loosing? Shows they have true commitment to the game over the dollars, wish we could say the same.
  17. Bit late for Dareus to be elected... Pun intended.
  18. It does however add something to the game, in the form of a choice between going for two or one point conversions.
  19. OMG didnt realise that was him, that was hilarious.
  20. There fixed that for you.
  21. He lobbed the ball towards Smith with intend, how can you even argue this.
