  1. I didnt like it when it happened but now that it has sunk in I actually love the move. If Watkins is indeed the true elite probowl hall of fame WR he's said to be then that is well worth the cost, even if he turns out as an above average #1 WR it's still a win as later drafted WRs all are what we have allready top end #2 receivers. I can care less what the media says about the cost. Same as the draft grades, if we get 4 immediate starters and 1 or 2 ST guys out of this years draft then it's been a huge success, and this draft has that potential.
  2. You are forgetting that our #1 receiver will be a rookie and that our defensive will be playing yet another scheme (5th scheme in 5 years or so?). Then there is also the matter of the o-line performance and with that our RB performance. This team has the talent to go far but it may as well bottom out next year. Good betting year imho.
  3. For most of his highlight vid he looks like an undersized RB playing the wildcat, looks very raw, but man that was one beautifull deep ball in his highlight vid. OTA competion for Tuel it seems. Edit: http://www.nfldrafts...=2014&genpos=QB Threw six touchdowns, an Ohio State record and the second-most in Big Ten single-game history, in Ohio State’s victory over Florida A&M ... Completed 24 of 34 passes for 215 yards while playing the first half only in his second career start...Connected with five different receivers on his six touchdown throws Wow
  4. That has bigger then Tom Brady written all over it. Surprised we got another QB as it was said multiple times no additional QBs would be brought in.
  5. With the 64th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft The Buffalo Bills select .....
  6. Bottomline is you're playing with rookies so you are going to loose a couple of games due to rookie mistakes. Rookie WR's, 3 rookie QBs, rookie OC, rookie HC, yet another new defensive scheme, terrible track record ST coach. With that in mind we didn't do too bad in my humble opinion. We were competitive throughout most of the year and the product was fun to watch. In any given season you'll win a couple of games that could have gone either way and you'll loose some. My main worry is what will happen this year, because let's face it; we'll still be fielding a rookie QB with rookie/2nd yr WR's, 2nd yr HC, 2nd yr OC, yet another defensive scheme and the same terrible ST coach we had last year. We've got the schedule going for us though.
  7. Yes, im not wording this very well am I. Whaley was clear that he expected another situation (thus holdout) then refused to go into detail about the negotiations but never denied the threat, rather expressed he didnt want that drama detracting the group.
  8. That is exactly what he said, which is confirmation of the question by not denying it.
  9. The follow up question was really good imho and revealed the real situation. Parker blackmailed/threatened them with another holdout. That considered plus the value they had him at and not seeing a solution the let him walk. I still think it send the wrong message towards future FA's. Then again it seems like it was a loss-loss situation for us. Guess Byrd really just wanted out.
  10. Sure, but we need to make sure to expand the FO with a house dealer first.
  11. The problem with that is that it won't be the first time he's heard that and said he'd commit to it. Hopefully he understands Marrone doesn't kid when he says stuff like that (unless you are ST coach).
  12. Let's hope the one thing he learns is that he needs to step away from his bad friends, stay away from the party, stay away from the silly plants or worse, get to work for 10 years and he'll be able to party for 70 years afterwards.
  13. nope
  14. I agree with TC, get SAM well worth the pick, if he doesnt make it it was only a 7th anyway. That guy was a beast last year.
  15. Hairston suffered a back injury didnt he? Prolly reagregated it when playing golf or something silly. Still hasnt been cleared by our medical staff though.
  16. year 3 holdout, I called it!
  17. Hah my wife: Are you going to watch that again? Good (and she fires up the xbox lol). Got a bit of a John Travolta complex have we?
  18. Get Michael Sam imho.
  19. LMFAO, that's brilliant! Ps. SJ also was a 7th rounder, just saying.
  20. This makes sense and would utilise CJ a lot better, having CJ on the field as sole RB just doesnt work as displayed by both Gailey and Hackett.
  21. Good vision, patience and reminds me of a mix between Fred and CJ. That said the Eagles oline was creating beautifull lanes for him in those highlights, no real traffic runs and break throughs. Our oline wasnt creating anything like those lanes last year so I guess we'll see how good he'll really turns out to be. Wonder how his hands and routes are.
  22. Hmmm, so we're gonna keep 4 RBs this year? Or is Dixon out?
  23. Andre Williams
