  1. It might be. The team seems to be much better focused on a week to week basis. Sure they aren't always hitting on all cylinders but no team really does that every single game. The Chiefs barely have done it at all this year. I think this rookie class has been a breath of fresh air and they have been playing key roles in big games.
  2. My buddy had a 4 way parlay that would have paid out $5400 and had 2 of them hit prior to this game...all he needed was an Otton anytime TD and a Hunt anytime TD to win. He got the Otton TD in the 3rd quarter and then he ended up cashing it in when he thought Mahomes was hurt. Then Hunt scored in OT and he was pissed off beyond belief
  3. That's the Bills in a nutshell on defense over the last 7+ years with McD.
  4. Of course...late 4th quarter...Chris Jones shows up
  5. Defensively they are pretty good...all their games have been within one score this year, even with putrid QB play for the most part, especially from Richardson when he is in there.
  6. What is it with this team going on runs of the same injury at the same time every year it seems? Last year it was ankles and this year it's wrists...
  7. Shaq Lawson anyone? He wasn't a great pass rusher but he was pretty amazing against the run and setting the edge for us. I believe he was cut from the Panthers practice squad a few weeks ago so we have a Carolina connection too...still only 20 years old.
  8. Exactly...ain't nobody better.
  9. Both calls were ridiculous. Dawkins got called because the ref probably thought the only way he could have had Robinson fall like that is if he held him.
  10. Not necessarily...broken wrists could heal much faster than torn ligaments/tendons depending on where and what. Broken bones are straightforward...tendons and ligaments not so much...and they heal much slower due to lack of blood supply. Torn tendon or ligament could mean season ending surgery.
  11. Insightful video up about how the Dolphins use motions and misdirections to create angles and alleys and double teams against the Bills... Also said Bills played more conservative with Benford out in coverage and played 2 high the most that they have all season.
  12. Add another one to Davis in there on a 63 yard swing pass
  13. I thought Woody Johnson had that locked up?
  14. LMAO...that was hilarious how the one dude literally fell on his @ss and the other guy looked like he was on skates and fell down to a knee...
  15. And it usually seems to be against the Dolphins making some crazy catch... The man has some really good hands
  16. Always remember passing by Croton-Harmon on the way to NYC on the train...
  17. Is it just me or has DaQuan Jones been a shell of himself this year? Last year before he went down he might have been the best player on our defense...this year I have barely even noticed him.
  18. You mean they let poor refs referee multiple Super Bowls? The worst NFL ref still infinity times more knowledgeable than any poster on this forum and likely is considering things posters wouldn't even know to consider. Essentially, most posters don't even know what they don't know about things that come into play.
  19. McD didn't brain fart the challenge, John Parry, the former NFL ref thought it was worth a challenge and so he threw the flag. Some people are just never happy. Bills put up 30 points and would have been 37 without Coleman dropping a perfect slant throw for a TD that turned into an INT.
  20. Back to back INTs...wow...brutal
  21. The Bills typically play with light boxes preferring to play two high shells. They also usually play a nickel over front aligned to the strong side almost exclusively on D, meaning teams can find ways to attack it early on before the Bills adjust and do different things within that to help. Today the adjustments didn't work so well. It happens. Typically the Fins have success running the ball but the Bills shut the passing game down. They didn't today. Benford being out probably hurt some, but Fins stayed patient and kept taking what the Bills gave them, which isn't usually what happens. In typical form, people are going to freak out and overreact. Bills D has a lot of new pieces and they are probably still working thru some things. They haven't been up to their really good form we expect in most games. Likely they don't have the right pieces they want to run it as well as they normally do, but they are making due. Would expect them to continue to get better thru the end of the year.
  22. So would you rather then make more stops in the run game and give up 80 yard TDs thru the air? They are still working thru some things on D and I don't think they have their ideal pieces in place right now to run it the way they would prefer. All in all they are doing pretty well outside a few games. They are still top 7 or 8 in terms of scoring defense. I would expect them to continue to improve as the year goes on, they have a lot new pieces on D.
  23. Turned out resting them today didn't end up hurting us thankfully.
  24. Yup, it has nothing to do with "not being able to stop the run". They simply are willing to give up runs sometimes and believe they will make enough disruptive plays to force 3rd and longs and take advantage of teams that aren't patient enough to keep doing it to prevent deep throws and maintain their two high shells. I mean they just held the Seahawks to 32 yards rushing last week and their RBs combined for 12 carries for 16 yards. Do we really have memories this short?
  25. No, just someone who has watched that a single regular season game is meaningless to try and take anything from long term. Otherwise you'd expect every team to be terrible considering all of them play bad games at different times throughout the year. It happens every week, every year and has for as long as football has been played.
