They did shut down the run in the second half. Taylor had 5 carries for 7 yards in the second half. Outside of the 59 yard run they did pretty well. Hamlin with a really bad angle...that should have been a 7-8 yard run.

Yeah and without a garbage time TD against backups with 2 seconds left it would have been by 17.

Those are the kind of games the Chiefs have won this year. Probably at least half their wins are like that if not more.

You realize they led the Chiefs most of the game in the playoffs last year by playing a patient, ball control game and essentially were a Dion Dawkins block from taking the lead late in that game prior to Bass missing the FG?

And they still won going away with the other team scoring a meaningless TD with 2 seconds left against backups to close the gap to 10. It's really amazing how good this team actually is.

Bills didn't have their A game but nice, workmanlike effort to still go out and score 30 points and win by double digits.

There is no such thing as Retroactive IR in the NFL.

When he is ready to play, he will play. McDermott has talked about how players earn their time on this team and that those who are out in and play well earn more time. Probably the most complex position on the defense to learn under McDermott's scheme and the key to everything. Cannot afford for a safety to be out of position so until he is consistent enough to be trusted he won't play unless injuries hit.
