The Bengals game was an aberration, IMO. Bills need to either outscore teams or limit their effectiveness scoring in the playoffs. Unless McD has some new wrinkles or calls the game differently, it doesn't appear we will limit teams scoring, at least not the elite offensive teams, so we will have to outscore them, which we 100% are capable of doing. I think we have done a very good job at having a lot more answers, getting players that fit into different roles and getting better at protecting Allen. We have become much more diversified by the looks of the additions. I think Kincaid gives us that "X-Factor" piece that we have been missing where no matter what the defense decides to try and do they are going to be wrong and it's going to be a situation of how do you want to die, quickly or slowly? I think this offense can reach a whole new level this year and that should be a very scary thought for the rest of the NFL.

A- Not sure about another undersized LB on the 3rd round they drafted to start on ST...think they could have got someone that could have contributed more at that spot. Other than that, loved Kincaid, REALLY loved Torrence, Shorter seems like a bigger Davis(perhaps thinking he can fill that role of Davis departs after this year) with better hands but not as much versatility, other 2 picks were decent players for where they were at. Overall feel pretty good.

Especially these days where athletes have the ability to extend their peak playing years via nutrition, actively taking care of their body properly, sports science, various technology that allows them to increase recovery/slow down the aging process, much improved medical treatments and procedures that return them to near 100% prior to injury, etc I think the peak years for athletes are increasingly getting longer and extending later in their careers and will continue to do so as new technology comes out and as more and more science becomes available and increasingly used by teams to help protect their investments. Still at the very early stages of this mindset shift

Remember it took multiple injuries for Bates to even get a shot to start. McD valued his versatility so much to play all over the line as a fill in, he didn't want to risk losing him to injury... Could see Bates going back to that role.

He held his own against Jalen Carter which is saying something. And I don't care if he was playing in D III, not giving up a single sack in over 1500 snaps is impressive any way you slice it.
