  1. Nice report, thanks. Just to let you know, Ben Obamanu is injured and not playing for at least a few weeks, let alone Sunday. Which is another plus.
  2. The point I was trying to convey by asking that question is that if he is indeed somewhere far outside of the Buffalo area, particularly in another state down south which might be the case, then the lack of any info. cannot and should not be blamed on "Lazy Buffalo Journalism". Also, don't you think this is a big enough story that if Peters was at his in-season home somewhere around Orchard Park several local media outlets would have tracked him down by now for sure? I have to believe he is not in town.
  3. Does anyone even know for sure that he is at his local Buffalo home around Orchard Park right now and not somewhere else??? Back home in Texas??? I'd be interested to know for sure if anyone does...
  4. Way too early to tell if we're going to get impacted by this IMO.
  5. Agreed. As much as I disagree with him holding out this long like this, that doesn't mean he is just sitting at home watching Sportscenter and eating Buffalo wings all day. Hopefully it's the exact opposite: He is in shape, the groin injury has healed fine, and he gets his A$$ to OBD today!
  6. 9 Seats in Section 102 Rows 18 and 19 baby!!!! Anyone else who is sitting in the endzones better help get them rockin when the seahawks are around!!! If they even make it into the redzone that is...
  7. Hopefully some fan interviews around my section are in the makings....
  8. Judging from your avatar, it is shocking to me that you would speak of homosexuals in that manner! Promote Gay Rights like your boy Obama!!!!
  9. Just out of curiousity, what made you choose the Niners game?
  10. That is so true....Love getting the last minute updates on injured players around the league and such around the same time too. God I wish I could fast forward to the morning of September 7th right now!
  11. I couldn't agree more! The difficult thing is I have season tickets with 8 other people and it can be a pretty interesting task getting everyone together and ready to leave North Tonawanda for the stadium on time!
  12. I like to start the morning off by getting to the lot around 8:30, and quickly cracking open that first cold Blue. The grills gets fired up right away, and bacon and eggs get on it and are ready to be the first meal devoured by 9 oclock. Then we mix in some more beers, football, beer pong, and flip cup along with the Pre-Game show and/or some classic rock blaring in the background. Around 11 the grill is put to use again, for some Grade-A Strips and some Sahlens Dogs. Rounds of shots generally come around this time forward, along with some more of the favorite tailgate past times as far as games go. Finally, around 12:25 or so, begin to head up to the Ralph with no doubt in my mind that we are going to beat whoever we are playing on that given Sunday (Or Monday!). LOT 2 POLE 6!
  13. I don't think the point of the post was "Good, now we actually have a chance to win because some of their guys are hurt". It was that this obviously will play out in our favor come week 1. I don't care how you win a home opener, just do it. And anything that can help the cause is fine with me.
  14. I guess this can only be seen as good news as far as we're concerned at this point...
  15. Little over two weeks . Haven't been this pumped for something in a long, long time!
  16. I can't decide whether the original post is a sarcastic one or not...?
  17. Congrats! It is money well spent. Good luck finding people to drive up to the games with, thats exactly what I would be looking for if I wasn't a half hour away from the Ralph.
  18. Anquan Boldin is my favorite non-Bills player in the NFL. He is an absolute beast after the catch, has good hands, and is a Hines Ward-type blocker as a receiver. And I agree with your logic about our offesne, what offense in the league wouldn't he make better??? That said, I don't know where that kind of money would be coming from seeing as we're already "close" to an extension with Lee and it looks like we may be forced to give Peters a big one. Plus, I don't know what the Cardinals asking price would be, but if it is as high as I think it could be, I doubt Brandon would pull that trigger.
  19. What JP has been doing throughout camp and in his recent interviews is far from pouting. In fact, he states that it is on his shoulders, and does not blame TE for where he is at this point. He's been nothing but professional throughout this off-season IMO. If you really wanna start talking about players "pouting", look no further than our Left Tackle.
  20. Roscoe obviously could deal with two or three colder games a year to sign an extension here. So I think it's a little naive to just assume Boldin wouldn't play in Buffalo if the scenario presented itself. 99% of the players in this league care about playing for a team on the rise and making their money more than dealing with a couple of games in less than ideal weather.
  21. Thats always been my feeling. Seems like everyone is really quick to discount the guy as a football players, while other circumstances (albeit some injuries, which are an issue to consider) have prevented him from giving us a decent sample to analyze.
  22. To me, comparing Edwards and Beck to Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf's scenario is a joke. #1 and #2 overall, with a ton of debate on both sides prior to the draft is a far cry from Beck at the top of the 2nd round and Edwards in the 3rd. Ridiculous comparison and article in general IMO.
  23. I tend to agree. Very seldom does he tell me something that I don't already know or at least have an idea of. More inside info/better camp reports would be appreciated.
