  1. I have a Samsung Blackjack...Love the phone, but hate the service it gets me. I have AT&T, and will often be at a place with a good amount of people who also have AT&T, they will have full bars, I'm lucky to have one. I know a handful of people that have this problem with their blackjack.
  2. Southern, with an ice cold bottle of Labbatts as a chaser.....Particularly while tailgating!!
  3. Just out of curiosity, who did Mayock have the Bills taking right before the draft last year if it wasn't Lynch? Patrick Willis? Anyone know?
  4. I am by no means obsessed with Losman, but I'm also by no means one of the people who is bowing down to Edwards already with such little evidence that he is superior to Losman IMO. Believe me, I'm not going to say I told you so if Trent sucks, or sulk if he leads us to a bunch of wins, because that's all I care about. I just wonder about the Trent bandwagon being filled to the brim so soon...
  5. Just hearing those names makes me cringe to think about Kelly as one of them if he's somehow a Bill...
  6. I've heard this too....Almost like Bob knew that he was going to need some help in return sometime...
  7. Even if the coverage did not allow deep balls to Evans that much, there was still another big contrast between the gameplan that JP and Edwards were given. PREDICTABILITY. I don't know if I'm in the minority, but I could call almost every single play that the Bills were about to run as far as run/pass goes during Losman's first couple of games. Then Edwards comes in and Fairchild decides to start implementing different sets, passing in run situation and vice versa, plays outside of the pocket, etc. The offense Losman was given to perform under was nowhere near the same as the one he ran with success for the most part in 2006. Like I said, Edwards played well enough as a rookie to keep the job coming into camp, but it's going to take a lot more to get me convinced that he is a better option for this team than Losman if theyre both given a chance to play with their strengths.
  8. I felt the same way when I watched the film on Groves and Harvey. As far as Harvey goes, all I saw on tape was their other end (#49, cant recall his name) wreaking havoc on opposing offenses and Harvey sort of coming in and cleaning up the mess if you will. Groves seems like he could be a difference maker.
  9. Aqib Talib and Branden Albert...I think Talib is only the 5th best corner, and I like Butler at RG.
  10. It is true of course that JP had the same players to work with as Edwards last year, but the gameplan that Fairchild (I'm assuming) forced him to work with was essentially tailored for him to fail IMO. We all know Losman's strengths and weaknesses by now, and three step drops/short passes are clearly not one of his strengths. Stretching the field and letting him get out of the pocket to use his athleticism are, and the playcalling, particularly early in the season, just didn't allow him to do that. I do think it's Trent's job to lose, but I also do not believe that Losman was given a very good opportunity to succeed last season at all.
  11. I like Rivals as a website in general, but every mock I've seen from them this year seems pretty bad.
  12. I was watching it earlier, it was nice to come across it since I was at the Ralph for the game and never got to see it on tv for better analysis. Almost forgot how bad that scumbag Willis punked George Wilson with that stiff arm on the TD run. Wow.
  13. Whether it's morally right in your mind or not, this is still the guys job, and "getting them more money by signing contracts he has no intention of honoring" is part of doing his job well, no matter if you think its right or wrong. Almost anyone in the same position would work pretty much the same way.
  14. I have to agree with most of that. I'd much rather have McKelvin or Jenkins if we're going to take a corner at #11. Rodgers-Cromartie is 2-3 years at minimum from really helping a team, if he develops. Wonder if he'd be getting this much attention if you took the Cromartie part off.....
  15. Maybe if Marvin Lewis and management stopped drafting and signing a bunch of convicts, and started focusing on getting players to help the team on the field CJ wouldn't feel the way he does. He just wants to be on a team that is moving in the right direction, which Cincy clearly isn't. Why is that such an incredible demand? He might be working for it in an outlandish matter, but thats just him. The point is the most trouble he has ever gotten into while in this league is due to over-celebrating, give the guy a break.
  16. Gotta love when someone tells you where they found their crazy rumors in the post, yet fails to ever give a link.
  17. Thats where my opinon is at. I don't like one overwhelmingly over the other, but I still don't think Edwards has done enough to be thought of as the clear-cut starter no matter what happens.
  18. Yeah, good point. Bledsoe and Chad Johnson is a perfect comparison to make.
  19. Absolutely not. Particularly considering no one around here every brings up Chris Henry or Pacman in any discussions involving the Bills.
  20. I never understand why people in their right mind would put Chad Johnson in the same category as thugs like those two. If he has any misdemeanors, felonies, making it rain habits, etc that I don't know about that would justify this, please let me know.
  21. Lets see, Stroud's will be 30 in a couple months, Mitchell 29 in October, but because Chad Johnson just turned 30 in January, Russ Brandon will clearly want nothing to do with him. Is that your logic smart guy?
  22. A couple comparisons that I have noticed: Limas Sweed= Plaxico Burress (Size, Hands, Demeanor at times) Martellus Bennett= Antonio Gates (Size, Basketball Background) Brandon Flowers= Champ Bailey (High comparison, but his instincts and ability to step up and stop the run could elevate him to this level some day IMO) Matt Ryan= Phillip Rivers (Good skills, but makes too many poor decisions and tries to force the ball too much)
