  1. I'd say that is a pretty damn credible source...
  2. I'll be reppin Section 102 as usual tomorrow LETS GO!!!!!!
  3. Exactly. And, seriously, there MIGHT be a handful of high school players that can throw the ball 62 yards in the air like that. And that's a big maybe.
  4. I'm not saying that it probably won't get done with TG to the Bills, all I'm saying is I don't think that an article like that means that something def. still isn't going to happen today. My money is on that it won't too, but there have been so many "dead" deals in every sport in the past that somehow get new life in the last hour....So you just never know...
  5. So if the Bills, or any other team for that matter, offer him what he has been asking for the entire time 10 minutes from now he'd say no because he's already given a quote to Jason Cole and that's "definitive". Are you kidding?
  6. GM's aren't in the business of tipping their hand, so that type of quote COULD mean very little. Who knows.
  7. I'm not going to believe anything of this sort until after 4 o'clock. Plus, consider the source, if this was rock solid I doubt Yahoo Sports would be the first to break it.
  8. This would all be so much easier if one, just one, of the people on this board was a close family member of Russ Brandon and could dig up some quick info
  9. I hadn't thought along those lines either...Interesting thought, at least....
  10. I would love to know what that number was. Although it may not be very indicative of anything since we were handing them short-intermediate routes all day long, meaning Warner didn't need all the time he may have had anyways.
  11. As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree. And these have been my thoughts about Schobel for more than just the beginning of this season. I don't know about him being cut or traded (Although it's certainly not implausible at this point) but he needs to step it up and start playing at the same level of the money he is making. NO sacks against Mike fricken Gandy?!?!?!? Erik Flowers could've went out there and got more pressure and maybe even a sack or two against that scrub. I could've accepted the fact of him coming out of the game without a sack if he was getting consistent pressure on Warner, but he wasn't doing anything near that. When you have so much money invested on three defensive ends, there should be no reason to not get pressure from the corners AT LEAST once in a while when rushing four. We shouldn't have to depend on blitzes to get in a quarterback's face all game. Although, we didn't blitz enough or effectively yesterday either. Denney and Kelsay also need to start getting after the quarterback, but Schobel is the one that is supposed to be our Pro-bowler and the guy that brings pressure off the edge, especially in passing situations. He needs to start playing better for this defense to be as successful as it can be. Period.
  12. While I agree the choice of words was poor, it doesn't mean the point is not a good one. The defensive scheme yesterday was a joke in just about every way, and virtually nothing seemed to be done to change it when it was crystal clear that it-predictably-wasn't going to work against Warner and that offense.
  13. Slightly retarded? Perhaps. Another game or two like yesterday, God forbid, and he just may graduate to short bus status.
  14. The question is, why in the world did they decide that they didn't want to utilize a defensive game plan with this in mind.....
  15. Right on. It is nice to know that San Diego won't have #56 coming off the edge, but it is still def. a concern. The line NEEDS to start opening up some holes for Marshawn as well. Almost everything he is getting he has to do on his own, and that needs to change ASAP.
  16. I was responding to the post about your post being condescending and making you look like an asswipe. I was trying to say that if your post was simply condescending, that almost everyone on this board is just that, especially after a loss. I agree with almost everything you said, and was attempting to give you some support when you were being labeled a troll just because of some different opinions on the game.
  17. Exactly. And I'm glad you said something about Kawika's play, because after the game, he was just about the only player on our defense (Other than MAYBE Youboty who didn't play too bad at all IMO) who played a strong game. He was def. flying to the ball all over the field, and other then over-pursuing maybe once or twice a bit, he was very, very solid. Speaking of over-pursuing, what in God's name is Copeland Bryan doing on that third down run, I believe in the third quarter? One of the worst individual plays I've seen by a defensive end on a run play in a longgg time.
  18. So, by that logic, 3/4 of the people on this board are asswipes. Relax, this is what happens after a tough loss. Everyone has their reasons for it, some people go way overboard or are "wrong", and that sparks the "condescending" posts. The fact is that there were a lot of good points, the Raiders fan sh-- at the end could have been left out, but are we really that sensitive? C'mon.
  19. Honestly, why do you even waste time posting on this board if you are seriously suggesting "rooting" for the Bills to lose? You've got to be kidding me.
  20. What the hell makes you say that? IMO, there wasn't anything in the post that was out of bounds or completely wrong. I can see where some people may consider the hit on Edwards as possibly dirty, but other than that I completely agree with everything as far as the analysis of the game goes. Good post.
  21. Seriously. Anyone who blames "85%" of the loss yesterday on Losman is either clinically insane, simply doesn't know football, or both. We lost that game yesterday because of a ridiculous defensive scheme that rarely brought blitzes up the middle and played our corners ten yards off of Arizona's wideouts, leaving the underneath stuff wide open for 8-12 yards, almost all game long. The only time we adjusted that type of bs coverage was during their first possession of the 2nd half, and what do you know, a THREE AND OUT. Our defense put our entire offense, with or without Trent, in a near-impossible situation of having to not only score every time they had the ball in their hands, but score a touchdown. IMO, particularly after the Jets exposed Warner's faults with his six turnovers the previous game due to constant pressure, Fewell got completely outcoached and put together an astoundingly bad defensive game plan. This, combined with the fact that our offensive line seems to dislike run-blocking for Marshawn, and a couple bad decisions by JP (Who was thrown into a tough enviroment with the road crowd, our defense playing terribly, and his first regular season action in months), is what cost us this game. The majority of the problem was nowhere near Losman's fault. If Trent plays the whole game, we still lose yesterday, and you cannot convince me otherwise.
  22. So they may be missing one of the best wideouts in the game, their best pass-rusher hands down, and easily their best overall defensive player. Wow. Two out of three would be nice, but all three of them being out would be devestating to Arizona IMO.
  23. This isn't too bad of a thing IMO. Let him get two full weeks of rest. Youboty has to keep playing the way he is and McKelvin has to step it up a notch for at least a game now. Let's see what the kid can do.
  24. That's what I was thinking too. It seems like that 9 out of 10 of them in that thread are logical and can recognize a good football team when they see one. Pretty interesting read IMO. Although, my favorite part was the guy who basically suggested that Leinart gives them a better chance to win games . I don't think he will ever be a good quarterback in this league. Career backup at best.
