I take your point about wanting a player who contributes this year, considering how long it has been since the team amounted to anything. But I still think we need a franchise QB and the sooner we get one the better. Maybe it's not Lynch, but he seems the best bet at 19.
Why not? Strongest arm, 6'7". Bright. What's not to like. I'll admit I have only seen him at the Combine, so maybe there are reasons for not liking him. But he is going to be picked in the first round by somebody, so I say, way not the Bills?
I know we need LBs, but there doesn't seem to be one worth picking at 19. Paxton Lynch would be more sensible, unless you figure Tyrod is better than I do. Which LB would be better than a potential franchise QB in Lynch?
Paxton Lynch should be the call at 19. Probably the most talented QB in the draft and Walter Football has him going to the Jets at 20, while we pick another WR. I'd lose what's left of my mind if that happened.
Yeah, Lynch is going to be special in the NFL. Hope he's there at 19. If not, what's the name of that Michigan QB who played so well in the Senior Bowl. He'd be a good later round pick.
There is no story here. Pegs hasn't the gumption to tell his two big boys this and even if he did, it is no big deal. The Bills will miss the playoffs and they'd be fired with or without this "warning", or at least Rex will. The question is, will he fire Rex when he's 3-5 by mid-season? I doubt it.
Anyone watch Jake Rudock slice apart Florida yesterday. He is a guy I would draft...over 3000 yards passing this year at Michigan. He is extremely accurate and has a great throwing motion.
It ain't Mario, it's the system. Dumbass is with the jets, they suck; Dumbass comes to Buffalo, we suck on D. Why would you change from a 4-3 with our D-line? Because Rex.
