  1. Weak. You don't want Lynch but you don't have an alternative. I guess you just pass when your pick comes.
  2. No answer? You're on the clock and you are going to miss your pick.
  3. To YoloinOhio: Maybe said who you'd take at 19, but I must have missed it. If not a potential franchise QB, who do you take?
  4. Well, you still haven't addressed my point that Lynch should be the pick if he's available at 19. You are saying teams might be wiling to take him earlier and even trade up to get him before 19. I agree. That's how much he is valued. So if other teams are considering picking him before 19 and even miving up to get him, then if they don't actually do it, then why not take him? I know there are decent DLs available, but we still don't have a QB, so I can't be excited about the Bills taking Jarran Reed, for example. That won't change the Bills' situation.
  5. That's a weak point. Trading up is difficult and costly. Those teams you mention probably would like Lynch but can't afford to give up the picks to move up before Buffalo. Besides, he isn't rated that high. That's why I said 19 is the perfect spot to take him. Not every year when you can get a potential franchise QB at 19.
  6. If you were GM, would you gamble that Tyrod Taylor is going to suddenly "develop" into a franchise, playoff QB or snag a 6'7" round one caliber kid who might be "the answer" in Buffalo? If they are not 100% convinced of TT's upside, they HAVE to address the position. Lynch is a perfect pick at 19 and if we don't take him, the Jets will at 20. So suddenly THEY have the franchise QB and we're sitting with another FItz for five years at $12 million a year.
  7. Eagles as dumb as the Rams. Moving up for garbage. What a franchise disaster.
  8. This is the truth. I suppose Tyrod COULD improve, but if he stays what he is, he's exactly what you say. As far as Lynch is concerned, if he's still there at 19, Whaley will be hard-pressed to pass on him. imho
  9. Titans made out like bandits. Never trade up. Belichick and Johnson taught us this.
  10. I voted Lynch, but if they can get Jake Rudock without using a draft pick, I would take him too! I can't fathom why he would be drafter, however.
  11. Any offensive player will surprise me, knowing Ryan's obsession with defense.
  12. Whaley isn't completely sold on Tyrod and neither am I. Let him play another year and meanwhile draft Lynch (if he's there) and either start him in Year two and let Tyrod walk or tag Tyrod for another year and start Lynch in 2018. IF Tyrod shows he is a franchise QB this year, then you extend him and have Lynch as #2. You are solid at QB for a while, something we haven't been able to say about the Bills since Kelly.
  13. Paxton Lynch is going to be drafted somewhere mid-first round. Why not by Buffalo, instead of one of those fat boys that end up eating themselves out of football? You can still get one of them later on...they're a dime a dozen. We need an impact QB. Lynch just looks like the best one in this crop and might be available at 19. Another EJ? Probably. But worth the shot until you get one who carries a team.
  14. Best - Doctson WR Bust - Ragland MLB Sleeper - Rudock QB Michigan
  15. Thanks for the link. If that game is typical of their offense, then Lynch has been coached up as a west coast QB. Everything designed for short throws, three-step drops. I don't think a play was called for anything downfield or anything other than one receiver. If that is because Lynch can't read the field, then I don't want him. If it's because their OC didn't think his OL could hold up against Temple, then Lynch did his job and actually looked good moving out of the pocket occasionally. So, you really need to talk to his OC to get an answer.
