  1. There's not that many Teams looking for a LT as it is...His market is not going to improve after the Draft...
  2. He's SUPER raw and inexperienced, but Osweiler has all the tools to one day be a decent NFL QB...Thing is, it's going to take a lot of work, and there are HUGE concerns about his feel for the Game...Some Scouts question not only his knowledge of Defenses and how to properly read them, but also his knowledge of his own Offense at times...He's going to be over-drafted...You can mark it down right now..Not to say that he wont be a good NFL QB one day...But he should not go higher than the 4th Round based on who he is and what he has shown thus-far...Ryan Mallett was light years ahead of Osweiler coming into the NFL and he went in the 3rd...Admittedly Osweiler is a MUCH better athlete than Mallett..But Mallett had the better arm, could read Defenses better, was more accurate, and had a master grip on the Arkansas Offense... It should be interested to see where Osweiler lands in this Draft...I saw McShay had him Top 30 or so...That is one clueless Scout!
  3. Have you ever seen Luck play? He's high rated for a reason...You know that right? A completion % over 70% for 2 College Seasons Andrew Luck...A Kid with similar athletic ability to Cam Newton...that Andrew Luck...One of the most cerebral QB's to come out of College since Peyton Manning...And comparing Luck to Ryan Leaf in any way...are you kidding me? Yes, Buffalo would be better off with Luck...Maybe not as a Rookie, thoguh I think he could step in and be as good as Fitz pretty quick...But after his rookie year, there is going to be no comparison between Luck and Fitz...Luck is destined to be a star in the NFL...He really is a once in a decade type of prospect...
  4. LOL what? You think I'm the only one?...
  5. Agreed actually... All you have to do is listen to a couple Scouts back-to-back to realize reach and value are in the eyes of the beholder...A couple days ago I heard Mayock and Lombardi say Stephon Gilmore's value was between 10-20 in the 1st Round, and that he was clearly the 2nd best CB in the Draft...Yesterday Charlie Casserly says he does not value Gilmore that high, that he's definitely not a Top 10 talent, and that Kirkpatrick is the better CB prospect of the two...So...Come Draft day, if The Bills take Gilmore at #10, Mayock and Lombardi will say great Pick...Casserly will say reach...And then we'll all see the truth when he gets on the field...
  6. My biggest concern is Fitz...And there is no close 2nd as far as I'm concerned...
  7. I don't know why I wrote "Martin" the 1st time around...Must have had Stanford LT on the mind... I meant Russell Wilson of course...
  8. Early on he did...But he was also a Rookie...By the end of the year he was making a lot of REAL nice plays...He came on big time...and believe me I was the most surprised...I gave the Kid a REAL hard time early on last year...But he won me over...
  9. Seriously? Did you just watch Pre Season Games and the Regular Season Games until he got hurt? Because by the end of the Season William may very well have been The Bills best Defender overall... That being said I think it's even more reason to Draft Gilmore...It would give The Bills a heck of a good young tandem for years and years to come...
  10. Haha! Definitely Bones!
  11. Totally 100% agree...
  12. Maybe if we Traded Down in the 1st and grabbed extra Picks...But I'm not for giving up any Picks at all, especially to Trade back into the 2nd for a QB I don't think is worthy of a 2nd round Pick...Not saying he wont go there, because he probably will...But QB's are being so overvalued at this time I just cant get on board with it...I think there is a great chance that even at 5'10" Russell Wilson will be as good an NFL QB as Cousins...Just My opinion though...
  13. Kinda doubt it...Though I really like the Kid and I may be his older brothers biggest fan... That being said I REALLY doubt The Bills go DE early...They may address further depth on the D-Line later on (maybe the 4th or later)...But the pressing needs on this Team are pretty obvious now...And I'm sure they'll be expecting the 2nd Round Pick to come in and contribute quickly...I doubt Jones would bring that to The Bills in 2012...Just my opinion though...
  14. Exactly! Floyd is a bit of a tease though is he not? I mean...You wonder...How much better would this Offense be with a guy like Floyd on the other side of Stevie? Then I think back to reality and realize there were times when recievers were wide open and Fitz still missed them...Sometimes costing us games (the Giants game comes to mind)...So any Bills Fan HAS to ask themselves, how much will a true #2 REALLY help this Team if Fitz is still the QB?...I think it's a fair question...But if Buddy and Chan feel Floyd is the best player...So be it... I would rather see them grab Gilmore at #10 as well...I think you can get a guy like Sanu or Jeffery in the 2nd Round, and in a year or two they could be every bit as good as Floyd...I don't think you can get a CB in the 2nd or 3rd that is going to be the good, physical, fast, and reliable package that Gilmore is...I like what Mike Lombardi said about Gilmore...He said, "To me he's a Starting CB in the NFL..." I think that's REALLY saying something...You've got a Kid who started 40 consecutive games in the SEC!!! That's tested! He's over 6' tall, had a TON of tackles...What's not to like? I think he brings GREAT value at #10, and would give the Bills 3 solid, VERY young CB's for the years to come...
  15. Well you know I usually agree with you Bro... But in this case I think The Bills have went to great lengths to improve the Pass Rush already...I hope that we'll see other D-Linemen (like Kelsay or Carrington), and a LB or two (like Moats?), freed up greatly now to do damage in the backfield...And I think now it's time to address other glaring needs on this Team (ie. LT, CB, WR, OLB)...As good as Ingram is (and I think he's pretty darn good...I saw him a ton while I lived in Charlotte NC), there is no way he's going to be a 3 Down Player as a Rookie in a 4-3 Defense...I think he can play all over the field in a 3-4...But in a 4-3 he's limited a bit...I think The Bills can get more impact at #10 for this Team as it is now... I'm actually leaning towards the WR Floyd, or the CB Gilmore at #10...I think both would provide immediate impact as Starters, or at the very least as 3rd on the depth Chart at their Positions...They would play a ton and bring aspects that The Bills have almost none of now...Gilmore is that tall CB who is REAL physical and has great ball skills...Floyd is also physical...A power-forward type of WR who is a more-than-willing-blocker and the type that can go up and get an errant throw (something we see with Fitz a bit)...I think both these prospects are HUGE upgrades to what we have currently in those positions (like Donald Jones or McGee and Florance)...And that will make The Bills a better Team overall in 2012...
  16. Thanks for the Link! It's important that The Bills get a young QB in this Draft somewhere...I would like to see them use one of their 4th Round Picks on a QB...Maybe even the 3rd Rounder, though admittedly I'm not thrilled about that idea...I just think they have too many other needs elsewhere(LT, WR, CB, OLB)to take a QB too high...It's just my opinion, but I don't think these 2nd tier QB's (Cousins and Weeden) are worthy of a 1st-3rd Round Pick...And I think it's a bit of wishful thinking that Cousins will be around in the 4th...But you never know...If so I would not mind grabbing him at all! Personally I'd rather take a flyer on Osweiler...I guess we'll see...
  17. SO right! Ngata was a consensus All-American...And The Bills needed a DT so badly they Traded back up into the 1st Round to take McCargo! Worst thing is they could have just sat put, taken Ngata in the 1st, and had their choice of Roman Harper, Marcus McNeil, Greg Jennings, Devin Hester, etc., in the 2nd...
  18. I was Home, so I was right here (TSW) for the Spiller Pick...And was clearly not too happy about it...Not that I knew who they were going to Pick, or that I did not think Spiller was going to be a decent NFL player...I just did not think we needed a RB...I was kind of hoping for Bulaga...But I was SO pissed when they made the Pick...Then CJ put on the hat, and I went back and watched his highlight reel about a hundred times to feel a little better...I remember almost immediately there were those who felt we were going to keep all 3 RB's...So my focus quickly switched to the fact that one of these guys had to go...But anyway...I felt your pain...Believe me... I've seen some video of Bills Fans when Maybin was Picked...But I guess we don't even need to go there do we...
  19. Oh good God you've got to be kidding...
  20. I thought Hardy would be a can't miss kind of WR...He just looked so good in the games I watched..And his size was so impressive... I thought McLovin was going to be a very solid NFL CB... On the other hand, in 2006 I was literally chanting "Ngata! Ngata! Ngata!" in my Den while watching the Draft...I nearly had a heart attack when they announced Whitner...I could not calm down for hours...
  21. I would LOVE to Trade Down and still get Gilmore...But that's looking less and less likely by the minute...
