  1. That much we absolutely agree on!!!
  2. Well then...They cut him after 2 years I guess... I don't think Romo's contract will stop Jerry from making a deal for JF...I very likely could be wrong about it...no question...But this is Jerry Jones we're talking about...If you try to apply too much logic it's VERY dangerous...
  3. I'm guessing Romo would start another season then they would get rid of him if they Draft JF...The Cowboys are in for a rough year in 2014...I think even Jerry knows it...They could use Romo as the scapegoat and go with JF in 2015...Romo will be 35 next year anyway... Half my closest friends are Cowboys fans...It's nauseating believe me...They are absolutely geeked at the chance of getting JF...They all think the Boys are going to suck this year anyway...I'm not saying they will do it...I am saying it's absolutely a Jerry kind of move...As an NFL fan I would love it to be honest...It would break Twitter...
  4. Assuming Evans is gone...I would welcome that...
  5. I would not be thrilled with Martin either...But to be fair he's considered twice the prospect Butler was... Let's not get carried away...
  6. I'm sure they're saying they are happy...What else are they going to say right? But I don't think they are thrilled...They're OK with it...But basically they're stuck...That's all...They really have no choice...And, at least temporarily, they really have no QB... We'll only know a few years from now how this is all going to pan out...But my guess is the Texans wanted to move down, get a huge bounty, and still land Bortles...I think they're surprised no one stepped up to give them the world for Clowney seeing as though he's the greatest player in the history of the NFL and all...
  7. Pretty much any defensive player at #9... I would also be very unhappy with OBJ... Lastly...If they trade #41 I'm going to lose it...
  8. True... I really find it hard to believe that 4 hours before the Draft we still have Bills fans...real Bills fans...predicting a QB pick in Round #1... It's one thing to voice your opinion that the Bills should take a QB knowing they won't...It's a completely different thing to avoid reality in such a stubborn manner...The only possible reason is setting up an "I told you so..." I just find it mind boggling...
  9. I want Mike Evans...I have since last year...Nothing has changed for me...
  10. Interesting...They admit it's a tough pick and they would welcome the right trade because Clowney is not a QB...Yet they ask for a QB's ransom in return...
  11. 1st - Mike Evans - WR 2nd - Troy Niklas - TE
  12. We certainly would have our 2 LB's...The problem is that Spikes, Rivers, and Lawson would have to split less than 40% of the downs...That's why it makes no sense to me for the Bills to go LB in this Draft...Just not enough snaps to go around and they spent decent money on LB's in Free Agency...
  13. Well...Considering that Biscuit is my favorite NFL player of all time...I can only hope we would be that right again...
  14. When you already have Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Will Wolford, Darryl Talley, etc...and you just Drafted Shane Conlon and Nate Odomes...Then yes...I would say he was well worth it...I don't think this roster is remotely close to where that roster was at the time...Mainly because of the QB position...But I could be wrong... They had almost everything in place in 87 to make a Playoff run, and they knew they needed to add a legit running mate for Bruce...Biscuit was a perfect fit...Plus...I don't think it can be ignored that in order to take the next step towards being a Championship team they had to make one of the best 2nd round picks in NFL history with Thurman Thomas...Biscuit was just a piece...But it did put the Bills on the map as a team that was serious about winning...It put the NFL on notice for sure...And I'm certain it had a major effect on the locker room...Only time would tell if a bold move up like that would pan out for this team...But I think overall the odds are against it...That's not to say it would not work...It's just risky as hell...
  15. I'm glad some folks were smart enough to put some real numbers behind what has seemed obvious to me forever...It also makes me wonder if Jimmy Johnson did not know this kind of thing all along and set the values accordingly because he was more likely to trade down then to trade up...
  16. Yep...Since when has a team ever said we want less guys who can rush the passer?
  17. We'll see if that holds up this year...The general feeling was that Oakland was desperate to get back into the 2nd round last year...They knew they wanted Hayden, and could get him at #12 no problem...It still cost St Louis a 2nd and a 7th to move up from #16 to #8 with Buffalo...That trade was much closer to the traditional Trade Chart value...
  18. Agreed... Not to mention free agency and age/injuries open up future needs you won't have the Draft picks to fill...See Atlanta last year...
  19. That would be awesome for the Bills...
  20. I agree...It's unfortunate I felt the same way in 1981...A lot of wasted years...No pun intended...
  21. The more I think about it...The more I think it makes sense for the Jets and Tampa to deal...The Jets would have to give up #18, #49, and either #80 or two of their three 4th round picks to get up to #7...It makes sense for Tampa because they can still get a Marquise Lee or Brandon Cooks at #18...Both of whom would be nice compliments to Vincent Jackson...Or they can go Defense at #18 and take a WR at #38...The Jets can possibly move up to #7, get OBJ, and still have a 3rd, a 4th, and seven more picks after that... Just saying...
  22. Only because Cleveland could not scout or Draft worth a...The Browns easily could have had DT Muhammad Wilkerson, WR Randall Cobb, CB Richard Sherman, and QB Russell Wilson...They also used the 2012 4th they got from Atlanta to move up one spot for Trent Richardson when they could have just stayed put and taken any number of better players at #4 overall... Alfred Morris went in the 6th round in 2012...And he's MUCH better than Richardson... Instead they got DT Phil Taylor, WR Greg Little, FB Owen Marcic, and QB Brandon Weeden...
  23. I agree...Safety enters the conversation at least in a trade down...Still don't think they'll do it...But it is a possibility...
