  1. Spiller, on the bench, is hurting his team less today than Bush is the Bills.
  2. Yep, early in 2nd half on a 3rd and 16. Just a waste. I'd rather just take the delay of game.
  3. If the Bills had dominated the first half like the Ravens and only went into the half up 3 I wouldn't be feeling too comfortable.
  4. Last one he was in the tackle box and it didn't get back to the LoS and no flag. It was hard to tell if there was a back or someone near where the ball landed but from what I saw it looked like intentional grounding too.
  5. If I have to hear Wilcots talk about "burning timeouts" one more time I'm going to pull my hair out. WTF is he talking about?! You use the timeout to call the right play, you score a TD, you still have one left and there's only 3 minutes left in the half. It's like he doesn't understand you get your timeouts back after halftime.
  6. So much for that...
  7. Been outplayed thoroughly yet only down 3. Need to get their sh*t together and make the Ravens pay for not putting points on the board.
  8. It's no different than selling T-Shirts if the T shirt has a giant coca-cola logo on it in addition to the twin towers. The sentiment on a T shirt can be genuine, you add a Coke logo and suddenly you're playing on that sentiment to sell a product. That's the problem with the Wal Mart display.
  9. I think how Brown and Washington play will definitely go a long way towards telling us how this season will go. Not so sure about Miller. He struggled last year and it didn't destroy the OL. I'd add Preston Brown to that list. He needs to show that last year was truly a learning year and now he is in total control of the D. This D is predicated on the LBs making plays, the two Browns need to step up. If they play well this D will be good.
  10. Keeping him on the sideline is one way to "get him in space." Lots of room there.
  11. Ahh, so the fans and media are to blame for the Bills decades long ineptitude. And you want the media to be fair? You're more critical of the fans on this board than the media ever has been of the Bills. So by your same rationalization you have caused the fans on this board to be negative because you always believed them to be.
  12. The season will start to swirl the bowl if Sammy goes down for any significant length of time. I hope to hell he's okay and this is an overreaction by Schefter.
  13. Hughes better not have any boneheaded penalties today that cost the team or this bus miss will be brought back into the story of how undisciplined the guy is. Win and play well and nobody remembers this. Lose and it's part of the story about the "culture" of the team.
  14. I laughed at the mattress add. Not because the content was funny in any shape, way or form, but because it - somehow, still - always amazes me how stupid people can be. How can one live in this country and not realize that this commercial would go over really, really poorly?
  15. Absolutely. So tired of reading specific posters group fans together and rag on them in an attempt to make some sort of point.
  16. Exactly, if he appealed he'd end up missing more than the 4 games because it didn't look they'd they'd hear his appeal until after week 1 which he wasn't going to play in anyway.
  17. - TT gets hurt and E.J. comes in and plays well for a prolonged period of time. At the end of the season there's a QB debate. I'm not sure if I'd laugh or cry if this scenario actually occurred. - Neither Jax nor Oak is worth a damn, despite all the pre-season hype.

  19. This one's not the same thing. Cam lowers his shoulder/head into the defender. If he doesn't do that helmet to helmet contact isn't made. The one that was negated by the intentional grounding was ridiculous though. He should have been ejected and I wouldn't be upset if he got a game suspension. It was a pathetic cheap shot.
  20. He doesn't have a sick feeling in his gut?
  21. I guess he never heard of divorce.
  22. Guy looks like a deer in headlights 24/7, not just when he's getting pressured.
  23. Easily the biggest question mark is TT. The league has been littered with guys who looked good for a year or so but couldn't take the next step. People are making a huge assumption that TT will continue to improve. He was protected last year with the running game and wasn't asked to be "the man" and he performed about as well as he could in that scenario. This year the Bills need more from him. If I had to make a bet I'd say that TT will be fine and has all the tools necessary to be a franchise QB for the next 5-7 years but I'm not to the point where I'm just automatically assuming it will happen. A QB has to do it for 2+ years - consistently - before I'll put any other position in front of him as "the biggest question mark."
  24. The Bills had the highest per rush average in the NFL last year in addition to leading the league in rushing. I'm not a huge fan of the right side's pass protection but to suggest the OL is bad - as a whole - is a little overboard.
  25. The knock on Taylor running before he gives guys a chance to get open isn't accurate. Taylor made a point last year of waiting and waiting for guys to get open before taking off, often times to the detriment of how many yards he could gain by running. I don't want him to run more but to criticize the guy for taking off too early seems like he's bunching all "running QBs" together without having watched Taylor that much.
