  1. So you admit you expect the QB to make up for all the team's deficiencies and if he doesn't he's no good? Hell, they should just have a QB contest every week to see which team wins the game.
  2. I don't want players who "want to win", I want players who actually go out there and win.
  3. Nah, I wasn't counting ST (hence no Lindell or Mooreman)...and yes, those are the exact 10 I had in mind.
  4. I don't think any coach could win with the collection of "talent" the Bills field every week. This team has 10 legitimate starters on the team (and only 2 on the O and D lines). Everybody else is marginal at best. That's just not going to get it done. That being said I'm not happy with the defensive philosophy I've seen thus far.
  5. Yep, give it 3 more seasons and it may be very close to the 0 for 20 of the 70s vs. the Dolphins. At least I can say I was at the one win!
  6. Who hasn't had the Bills number the past 7 seasons?
  7. As I stated, it's a two fold problem.
  8. Three of those are with the Pats coming off a bye week. The Bills suck but giving Belichick 2 weeks to prepare compounds the problem.
  9. This is a two fold problem. JP isn't paying attention to the clock and the Bills coaching staff is taking forever getting the plays called into the huddle. There's no reason why the team should be walking up to the LoS 3 times a game with the playclock approaching 5 seconds.
  10. So you've proven your point: Losman isn't as good as Brady. Good job.
  11. Well, if YOU like Nall then let's put him in! JP struggling doesn't make Nall any better than he already is. He's still the guy that couldn't beat out JP in the pre-season and that GB thought so little of they drafted Rogers to be the future.
  12. Next Sunday will be the most pleasant Sunday remaining in the year.
  13. Unfortunately there isn't anybody on the roster that's part of the solution at the QB position. The Bills have, maybe, 10 guys on the roster in total that deserve to be starting in the NFL (let's count 'em. Willis, Evans, Peters, Schobel, Fletcher, Clements, Crowell, Spikes (if healthy), McGee and maybe Whitner). I'm becoming less and less sure that JP will ever turn into a starting calibur QB but he gets the rest of the season Imo.
  14. Do you honestly think it's only JP?
  15. It was actually the right call, it puts the Bills within 2 scores.
  16. Imagine that, a guy who has less than 16 starts to his name is inconsistent. I would have never guessed. I’m not too happy with the way JP has been protecting the ball lately but he does show flashes that indicate he can play in this league.
  17. The thing that really gets me about the cushion is that they STILL have two safeties 20 yards from the LoS, which means that there isn't an 8th man in the box for the running game. So the Bills are keeping 2 safeties way back and 2 corners way back at the same time...WTF?! I guess they're really scared of getting beaten deep?
  18. Both the O and the D have made big mistakes thus far in the game. The Bills haven't gone toe to toe with anybody. The difference between good teams and bad are that good teams limit their mistakes and bad teams continuously make costly mistakes.
  19. I knew when Willis didn't get into the EZ it would end in 3 points. In fact I called it exactly, I said, "run, run, sack, FG." At some point this offense will realize that you can't simply run, run, pass it everytime you're in the red zone. You have to pass on 1st downs sometimes.
  20. But I'll take a win based on a bad call! Anything to beat the Pats.
  21. I'm not so sure it has to happen soon. Jauron was adamant about being "forcefully patient" with Losman this season. If Losman stinks it up this week but lights it up in the last 4-5 games of the season nobody is going to point back to this three game stretch (except Holcomb's Arm and JDG). Losman needs to show that he can play more consistently but I don't think it absolutely has to start today. I think he’ll be given the entire season and then they’ll judge him based on how he improved/didn’t improve.
  22. I'm guessing the Pats end up with over 200 yards rushing today. Of course, Losman will be to blame for the Bills losing.
  23. Who knows if Losman will pan out, all I know is that no QB can be successful with this team as it stands now. The QB has to play virtually perfect football in order to win. He can't turn the ball over even one time and still expect to win. That's not the same for most other QBs in the league, but unfortunately that's what's expected of Losman. Of course he's going to fail given these circumstances. Eli puts up 2 INTs and the rest of the Giants team picks him up and they still manage a comfortable win. If Losman turns the ball over two times everybody is on his A** and blames him for the loss. It sure would be nice to see the D start causing some turnovers so the Bills don't automatically lose the turnover battle if they turn it over one or two times. It’s lazy writing to just put everything on the QB. Of course Losman hasn’t looked good the past two weeks but he was the ONLY reason the Bills were even in the game at the end last week. If anybody else (particularly on D) helps the team by making a play the Bills might have won. QB rating doesn't tell everything but if someone had told me Losman would have one over 80 after 6 games I'd have taken that as solid progress.
  24. I think that's a pretty good rationalization but I'd imagine that if the shoe were on the other foot you'd be saying you'd rather have the one title. I've never known a Bills season that didn't end in disappointment. I'd take just one SB win over countless SB losses any day.
  25. I thing I hate about the Pats is that they always beat the Bills.
