  1. You're forgetting the D when you speak of "supporting casts". Their D enables Manning to make mistakes that don't end up costing them the game. The Bills D doesn't allow Losman to make any mistakes if they hope to win. The Giants D isn't great but it's much better than the Bills.
  2. You think these guys watch the Bills practice? I highly doubt it.
  3. The difference is one QB is expected to make up for the deficiencies of the entire team and when he doesn't he's considered a bad QB. The other QB has a solid supporting cast that can overcome his mistakes so he's (obviously) a better QB. I see the same things out of Manning that I see out of JP, he has some great moments where you just shake your head in amazement, but he's also inconsistent throwing the ball and makes a few really bad decisions a game.
  4. Willis is no better at picking up the blitz than Travis was. They are two of the worst blocking RBs I've ever seeen. Both of them pick up the blitz at about a 50% rate, which just doesn't cut it.
  5. This sounds like me. I scored 138 and lost to a guy that scored 146 (thanks to a 3rd Bears D/ST TD in a 14 minute span).
  6. Bad News: Dr. Trooth posts on TSW. Good News: TSW has an ignore feature.
  7. Sadly, this is what I expect this Sunday.
  8. Haven't you heard, that's Losman's fault.
  9. Hopefully we're halfway there by now so we only have another 7 years to go!
  10. That's mighty big of you considering that you're never willing to admit he has had good games.
  11. Leinart sucks, he just loses. It's all on the QB....right?
  12. Unfrickinbelievable. Up by 35 going into tonight's game and the Bears D scores 2 TDs to lose it for me. For the fourth time this season I've lost to the team that has scored the most points in the week. For the 3rd time in those 4 losses I've scored the second most points that week.
  13. Yep, I agree with this. I'm not a huge fan of Clements but I'm absolutely tired of the Bills letting their first round picks sign elsewhere once their first contract is up. Clements might not be worth the cash but if the Bills let him go it's just another slot to fill.
  14. Then it must be true!
  15. Two straight possessions the Cards have had 3rd and 10+ and have elected to throw the ball. Big mistake, run it or throw a screen pass but take the :45 off the clock. I don't mind the throws on second down to try and move the chains or set up a manageable third down but once it becomes 3rd and 11 just take the time off the clock and punt the ball. Too many bad things happen on third and long.
  16. I forgot about that one, classic.
  17. I'm guessing someone is going to come here and officially stamp this thread as "not funny."
  18. I've heard you can but "it" on Ebay.
  19. I can't believe I'm going to praise Denny Green (I think he's a joke of a coach) but here goes (ugh, this makes me ill just saying it). It's also amazing what a solid game plan can do against a quick agressive D. Quick passes, 3 step drops and letting the WRs make plays after they catch the ball. The gameplan the Cardinals have tonight is perfect (and Leinart is executing it very well).
  20. If "it" = throwing INTs in crunch time with the game on the line then Bledsoe has more "it" than just about any player in NFL history.
  21. I think the tards, bridge jumpers and pompous blowhards are pretty funny themselves.
  22. Man, this Grossman kid SUCKS. I mean, how could he not do well against the Cardinals D. It must mean he SUCKS.
  23. Anybody can come out and have a great 1st quarter or two. If someone from another team only watched JP's 1st quarter against Miami last year they'd be posting, "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T WE DRAFT LOSMAN?!" Point being people get too excited about a player for a good game or two and too down on a player for a bad game or two.
  24. If the Bills are 10 mil under the cap next year too I'm going to feel like stabbing myself in the eye with a fork. I'm about to that point right now since the Bills should be using the additional cap space this year to front load some contracts (like Clements or McGahee) and still have space in the future.
