  1. Imagine that, a guy who has less than 16 starts to his name is inconsistent. I would have never guessed. I’m not too happy with the way JP has been protecting the ball lately but he does show flashes that indicate he can play in this league.
  2. The thing that really gets me about the cushion is that they STILL have two safeties 20 yards from the LoS, which means that there isn't an 8th man in the box for the running game. So the Bills are keeping 2 safeties way back and 2 corners way back at the same time...WTF?! I guess they're really scared of getting beaten deep?
  3. Both the O and the D have made big mistakes thus far in the game. The Bills haven't gone toe to toe with anybody. The difference between good teams and bad are that good teams limit their mistakes and bad teams continuously make costly mistakes.
  4. I knew when Willis didn't get into the EZ it would end in 3 points. In fact I called it exactly, I said, "run, run, sack, FG." At some point this offense will realize that you can't simply run, run, pass it everytime you're in the red zone. You have to pass on 1st downs sometimes.
  5. But I'll take a win based on a bad call! Anything to beat the Pats.
  6. I'm not so sure it has to happen soon. Jauron was adamant about being "forcefully patient" with Losman this season. If Losman stinks it up this week but lights it up in the last 4-5 games of the season nobody is going to point back to this three game stretch (except Holcomb's Arm and JDG). Losman needs to show that he can play more consistently but I don't think it absolutely has to start today. I think he’ll be given the entire season and then they’ll judge him based on how he improved/didn’t improve.
  7. I'm guessing the Pats end up with over 200 yards rushing today. Of course, Losman will be to blame for the Bills losing.
  8. Who knows if Losman will pan out, all I know is that no QB can be successful with this team as it stands now. The QB has to play virtually perfect football in order to win. He can't turn the ball over even one time and still expect to win. That's not the same for most other QBs in the league, but unfortunately that's what's expected of Losman. Of course he's going to fail given these circumstances. Eli puts up 2 INTs and the rest of the Giants team picks him up and they still manage a comfortable win. If Losman turns the ball over two times everybody is on his A** and blames him for the loss. It sure would be nice to see the D start causing some turnovers so the Bills don't automatically lose the turnover battle if they turn it over one or two times. It’s lazy writing to just put everything on the QB. Of course Losman hasn’t looked good the past two weeks but he was the ONLY reason the Bills were even in the game at the end last week. If anybody else (particularly on D) helps the team by making a play the Bills might have won. QB rating doesn't tell everything but if someone had told me Losman would have one over 80 after 6 games I'd have taken that as solid progress.
  9. I think that's a pretty good rationalization but I'd imagine that if the shoe were on the other foot you'd be saying you'd rather have the one title. I've never known a Bills season that didn't end in disappointment. I'd take just one SB win over countless SB losses any day.
  10. I thing I hate about the Pats is that they always beat the Bills.
  11. You're forgetting the D when you speak of "supporting casts". Their D enables Manning to make mistakes that don't end up costing them the game. The Bills D doesn't allow Losman to make any mistakes if they hope to win. The Giants D isn't great but it's much better than the Bills.
  12. You think these guys watch the Bills practice? I highly doubt it.
  13. The difference is one QB is expected to make up for the deficiencies of the entire team and when he doesn't he's considered a bad QB. The other QB has a solid supporting cast that can overcome his mistakes so he's (obviously) a better QB. I see the same things out of Manning that I see out of JP, he has some great moments where you just shake your head in amazement, but he's also inconsistent throwing the ball and makes a few really bad decisions a game.
  14. Willis is no better at picking up the blitz than Travis was. They are two of the worst blocking RBs I've ever seeen. Both of them pick up the blitz at about a 50% rate, which just doesn't cut it.
  15. This sounds like me. I scored 138 and lost to a guy that scored 146 (thanks to a 3rd Bears D/ST TD in a 14 minute span).
  16. Bad News: Dr. Trooth posts on TSW. Good News: TSW has an ignore feature.
  17. Sadly, this is what I expect this Sunday.
  18. Haven't you heard, that's Losman's fault.
  19. Hopefully we're halfway there by now so we only have another 7 years to go!
  20. That's mighty big of you considering that you're never willing to admit he has had good games.
  21. Leinart sucks, he just loses. It's all on the QB....right?
  22. Unfrickinbelievable. Up by 35 going into tonight's game and the Bears D scores 2 TDs to lose it for me. For the fourth time this season I've lost to the team that has scored the most points in the week. For the 3rd time in those 4 losses I've scored the second most points that week.
  23. Yep, I agree with this. I'm not a huge fan of Clements but I'm absolutely tired of the Bills letting their first round picks sign elsewhere once their first contract is up. Clements might not be worth the cash but if the Bills let him go it's just another slot to fill.
  24. Then it must be true!
