  1. I can't believe I'm going to praise Denny Green (I think he's a joke of a coach) but here goes (ugh, this makes me ill just saying it). It's also amazing what a solid game plan can do against a quick agressive D. Quick passes, 3 step drops and letting the WRs make plays after they catch the ball. The gameplan the Cardinals have tonight is perfect (and Leinart is executing it very well).
  2. If "it" = throwing INTs in crunch time with the game on the line then Bledsoe has more "it" than just about any player in NFL history.
  3. I think the tards, bridge jumpers and pompous blowhards are pretty funny themselves.
  4. Man, this Grossman kid SUCKS. I mean, how could he not do well against the Cardinals D. It must mean he SUCKS.
  5. Anybody can come out and have a great 1st quarter or two. If someone from another team only watched JP's 1st quarter against Miami last year they'd be posting, "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T WE DRAFT LOSMAN?!" Point being people get too excited about a player for a good game or two and too down on a player for a bad game or two.
  6. If the Bills are 10 mil under the cap next year too I'm going to feel like stabbing myself in the eye with a fork. I'm about to that point right now since the Bills should be using the additional cap space this year to front load some contracts (like Clements or McGahee) and still have space in the future.
  7. I have the same opinion of Leinart that I had at draft time. The guy will be a good QB if he lands in the right place. Buffalo in December isn't that place. Arizona in a dome suits his abilities perfectly.
  8. If the contest was to predict the Colts record months before the season started someone would win. What we need to do is turn this into a Colts board and finally LA would get to buy someone dinner.
  9. What on earth would make you think that this topic will ever die?
  10. Even bad teams don't get blown out each and every week. They usually have a few here and there just to make sure people know they suck.
  11. Because apparently the guy posting doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom and is proud of it.
  12. I guess this is the death of the kinder, gentler JSP? To tell the truth I didn't think he'd live this long.
  13. What are you talking about, the team he drafted is loaded. You don't get that kind of talent in a 12 team league. One mistake he did make was drafting both Palmer and Rudi. If Cinci puts up 35 points his team going to have a great week but if they struggle the fantasy team will struggle too. It really comes down to points against, sometimes teams just get unlucky. In my second league my team is as follows (12 team league): QB: Vick RB: Ronnie Brown RB2: K. Jones, A. Green, R. Droughns WR: Holt WR2: Chambers or Evans TE: L.J. Smith K: Carney D: Vikings or Giants The team the original poster drafted is a MUCH better team than mine...yet somehow my team is about to be 4-1-1 (the one tie came when Green was a surprise scratch before his Monday night game 2 weeks ago). The team has accumulated this record because I’ve been fortunate enough to not play any of the top scoring teams in any week. To contrast this my main team (in my money league) is loaded yet was 2-3 coming into this week (it will most likely be 3-3 after this week). It doesn't matter if you score the 2nd or 3rd most points in your league each week if you're unlucky enough to play the 1st or 2nd highest scoring teams each week. In this league my 3 losses have ALL come when I played the highest scoring team of the week. A lot of it comes down to luck, you just hope your team is consistent all year long and the law of averages comes into play.
  14. Which is why he told him to start Brown and Williams...
  15. TH takes a hell of a pounding given his style. He ends up missing too many games and his career will end up being much shorter than McGahee's because of it. Although they have different styles their results are similar. Neither breaks long runs, both have career averages hovering around 4ypc and neither can block worth a damn. I'd take McGahee simply because he'll have a longer career and he holds onto the ball much better than Henry (Henry averages a lost fumble once ever 80 attempts while McGahee averages one once every 246 attempts).
  16. Yeah I caught that one too and was perplexed that the official who was standing right there in perfect position didn't see the lineman basically tackle him.
  17. He did miss a lot of time last year and got off on the wrong foot with the coaching staff (hence his one start last year). It looks like he's turned things around this year and is finally getting some playing time. Now that he's playing he's putting up pretty good numbers and running really f'in hard. This is the thing that is perplexing to me. Henry lays it all out there when he plays, I like watching guys like that even if they're not the most talented players on the field. I thought most fans appreciated that kind of effort. I guess not. He's not a great runner and is probably a below average one but his effort makes up for it. He almost wills himself to get yards. Btw, do you still think Henry is the worst blocking back in the league? I'd say Willis gives him a run for his money. I wonder if it's coincidence that the Bills never seem to be able to find ANY players, be they OL or RBs that can pick up the blitz.
  18. I've never been a fan of Clements but blaming him for where he lines up is ridiculous.
  19. I wouldn't say I am a "fan" but I was right here debating you that he wasn't nearly as bad as you attempt to make him out to be. He's a decent back, nothing more, nothing less.
  20. Not to mention that a great RB isn't really a position needed for a team to win. Hell, the Jets are 3-3 and have the worst backfield in the league. Look how good everybody who runs behind that Steeler or Bronco lines looks? If a team has almost everything in place they have the luxury of drafting a RB in the 1st round (like say the Pats or the Colts). Otherwise, Imo, it's a wasted pick. I like McGahee but I totally agree with you he was a luxury pick (as was Parrish).
  21. I wonder if anybody have the nerve to start a post this week getting pissed off when some analyst out there calls the Pats the lock of the week? HOW CAN THEY UNDERESTIMATE OUR TALENT LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!?????
  22. Sadly for the past 6+ years I wake up on SUNDAY morning feeling this way. I already know how my day is going to go and it doesn't feel good.
  23. Enter the poster that thought he'd be out of the league by now.
  24. I have no idea how they could think Detriot is a worse team than the Bills. They ran over the Bills in just about every phase of the game. It wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated and that was with lots of starters out of the game with injuries.
