Sometimes the hires may no sense at all in years gone by. Still hard to believe that Mike Pettine from the drought-era Bills got hired by Cleveland, what a major downer for Browns fans.
Bottom line, if he has any class at all, he will honor the massive contract extension that he just signed. He’ll be a FA again in 2025, not too late to avoid becoming the 21st century Archie Manning.
Yeah I’m not too concerned about the regular season, I’m pretty sure this team is making the playoffs with or without him. Definitely need more impact players in the big games though. If Beane is sure he will step up big time in the post-season, go get him.
IMO I was shocked with Watson's 1st season before he got hurt, he far exceeded my expectations. Never been quite as impressed with him after that, though I do think he's very good.
Unless you know the QB really sucks. You can trade him within the division and make it a win-win, like when Belichick fleeced the Bills with Brain Dead Drew.
Outside of a few plays here or there, I don’t really have one, it’s a beautiful thing.
I would say the one player who annoyed me the most last year was Brian Winters.
Of course, if you are looking at QBs to lead you to a win in 1 game (like say, the SB), there is only one player in Tier 1, and that is still Tom Brady.
