I think we would have lost to the Bucs, but I honestly believe we would have done better on offense if we had the same lineup as against the Chiefs, maybe even scoring 16-19 instead of 9. For whatever reason the Chiefs seriously laid an egg, probably due to the loss of both their tackles being too much to overcome. However, I don't see us having done better on defense, and possibly even worse, than KC did; so no, I do not think we would have won... more like 38-16 which is a bad beatdown. We need improvement on both lines and a better running game to compete, and either a new TE or to use our TE more effectively. The KC team we played, in my opinion, wasn't the same team that played in the SB. They lost a key OT, and they also just simply played below their normal level - it wasn't all Tampa Bay. Sometimes teams play differently week to week.

We should work on our OL and DL most of all. TE and RB are nice to have by comparison.

He did occasionally, but it only happens against teams with really fast defenses. The weaker teams can't corral him well enough to stop a throwaway. However, I am cautiously optimistic he can polish off the last few rough edges from his game in year 4. Let's stop him next year.

I watched the game because it is usually interesting to see really good teams play. I found myself not caring too much who won, since I am not a KC fan and not a TB fan. I despise Brady (and some of the other TB players), but I also don't like the Chiefs especially after the way they played us 2 weeks ago. I am not happy that Tampa Bay won, but neither am I unhappy that KC lost. What I feel, most of all, is the desire for the Bills to get better next year! He did hit the guy in the face on that throw.

I wish some Bills fan was there to throw Brady's special toys on the field when TB wins.

So at first I was complaining about the refs and the inconsistency favoring Brady. There is some of that, but there is more to it. I think Tampa Bay watched the Chiefs mug our receivers and coached their offense to overreact to every contact. The WR will flop when grabbed to draw attention, Brady will throw it in the area to draw a flag. As great as Josh is, of course Brady can still spot these things better and take advantage. And I really think the Tampa coaches could not have missed preparing for the "hold em every time" tactic. Of course, KC is doing much worse on offense, too.

They were really taking away our WRs and they got too much pressure. What were our best options? - Allen runs ... could have used even more - Jet sweep ... used a couple times - Short dump to TE ... under used - RB screen ... drop hurt us bad - Other runs ... we aren't good at this I'd have liked to see some playcalling adjustments because of the pressure, it might have backed them off a bit. If we held the ball a bit longer on offense and scored a bit more, maybe our D would have held up a little more? Or maybe we would still have lost, but looked better on O.

The apology was well deserved. As far as our offensive struggles, I think it was substantially due to coaching problems. Execution always plays a part, of course, but I don't think we adjusted to KC's pressure appropriately.

Are we going to make the score look respectable in garbage time?? Sad.
