  1. Kroft is active this week, right? Let's end this on-the-job training for Knox. Send him to work with the machine until he learns to catch or his hands swell up to balloons.
  2. Can we throw it to players who catch?
  3. Is Cam still on that vegan diet which was rumored to be limiting him?
  4. Rodgers has fewer TOs by a decent amount. He is very slightly ahead in completion % as well as YPA and total TDs (even adding rushing and receiving TDs). The term "significant" is in the eye of the beholder, but at this point Rodgers' stats are slightly better. I didn't say it was not a close call.
  5. Rodgers should get it at this point. That does not take away from the great season Allen has had; it's just that I believe Rodgers deserves this specific award. I'd like to see Josh continue to drive up our Win/Loss record. And, let's see him maintain this kind of performance level; if he does, he will win the MVP in the future when it is warranted.
  6. Yes. It is a team game and you cannot win consistently with a great QB while most of other 21 starters are bad or lazy. Also, if your coach is not good that is a huge disadvantage. However... it is much easier for them to turn it around and improve with the QB spot settled.
  7. I wish him an asymptomatic case and speedy recovery.
  8. The Titans beat us in the regular season. We could lay an egg and lose to any of the AFC playoff teams... although I would favor us right now against all but KC. The weakest contenders seem like Pittsburgh and Miami.
  9. Maybe if we win the Super Bowl, our guys become non-Pro Bowlers and then they pick an alternate?
  10. What about our punter???
  11. There's no real need for game to game grades, he has arrived. And, unlike previous "hot streak" QBs, there is a big difference with Allen. In many cases other "hot" QBs only lasted until the league figured them out - because they had good skills but lacked talent. With Allen, the reverse is true; he had great talent and needed time to build his skills. So instead of the league figuring him out, he's figured the league out, and now he'll be a star player going forward (barring injury).
  12. Play to win. If you coach at less than 100% you can't expect the players to play at 100%. Now, that does not mean you can't rest a couple of injured players or take starters out when you have a lead. Or even lower a couple of snap counts when you can. That is just good management. But there is a huge difference in, for example, starting Barkley or not playing either of our top 2 WRs.
  13. I'd favor the big guys. Lee Smith at QB. Backup OL at RB.
  14. We had trouble with the KC and Tenn defenses. I like our chances if we face the Cardinals again.
  15. Since we're guessing, I will guess "groin".
  16. "Send the OT to clear out the coverage"
  17. The guy was aggravated at Josh stiffarming him. He shoved back and you aren't allowed.
  18. Why did he challenge. They never agree to change the spot unless they actually place it on the wrong yard line by mistake.
  19. That bad spot was a makeup call for a generous spot earlier. But that was a BAD spot.
